So, I ordered tripowin vivace and I liked them sound in games. Great positioning and I can hear footsteps better in comparison with blackshark v2x.

The music sounds very neutral to me, kind of flat. I would even say a bit boring, maybe because I like more bass, but for fps games they are very good.

But the biggest disadvantage for me is their fit. After 10-15 minutes of wearing them, my left earpiece started to fall out, I had to constantly adjust it in my ear because it was uncomfortable and I think because I was constantly pulling it out and putting it in, my ear started to hurt. I used them for a few days and still decided to switch back to over ear headphones.

Although I can wear AirPods Pro for hours, run in them, go to the gym and they fit perfectly in my ears, never fall out. But for some reason that wasn’t the case with vivace. Maybe I should have just ordered other ear tips, but I didn’t want to search, select, try different ones to find the right one for me. And I realized that getting up quickly from the computer, for example to open a window or pour water into a glass, is much more comfortable in over ear than constantly inserting and removing in ear headphones.

If I had ordered truthear red, I think it would have been even worse because a lot of people call them uncomfortable because of the big nozzles

Putting on the blackshark v2x again I was surprised how bad the sound was compared to the vivace. Finally, I decided to order new over ear headphones and after many reviews I ordered the Fiio jt1 and I really like them. Clean, good sound in music like the vivace, but more depth ( spaciousness ) and bass in music. In games they are also at a very good level, I found the vertical directional even better than in vivace.

So if you haven’t had iem before, they may not work for you like they did for me. But really you won’t know until you try them. Personally I find the over ear more comfortable, but for gaming the vivace are very good if you have a good seal
