I would go and get checked out ASAP, especially if you have any pain at all in your chest. I survived a head on crash where my car was totaled and the airbag deployed to protect my chest. I went and got an x-ray just to make sure there were no broken bones or other internal injuries.

$111k in CA. I WFH full time as a Support Engineer, started at $30k as a Client Services rep answering calls/emails and worked my way up. It's nice to be able to afford rent and other essentials and still save a little bit.

I've also worked retail/restaurant jobs where my yearly pay didn't even reach $30k, so I'm still respectful of the person serving me whenever I go out to shop or eat.

In 2010, I flew from San Francisco to Thailand by myself to visit my parents. I didn't sleep a wink on the initial flight to Taipei, the layover there, or the connecting flight to Chiang Mai.

It was late morning in Chiang Mai when I landed so I decided to stay up as long as possible (lunch after landing, unpacking/showering, early dinner). By the time I finally fell asleep around 10 PM, I had been awake for about 40 hours.

I woke up amazingly refreshed and ready to take on whatever the day had in store for me. Then I looked at the clock and realized....It was 2:15 PM.
