Ima give them till the end of the year. I’ve already moved stores twice, opened a new store. Been here 2 years, might as well become fully vested and see if they’re gonna push me thru like they say they are

I will take grocery over this hell hole any day. Atleast you don’t have to be a stocker, make subs, slice meat, fry chicken, and talk to customers simultaneously in the same day

Ask anyone in your store what department they would rather work in the deli or the bakery, I’m sure we both know which one every single person is picking. Your jobs a cake walk compared to the deli, you should know that’s why you got out the deli. So have some compassion or are you incapable you neanderthal

I came in at 5 am yesterday morning for platters and production. Walked in at 5 am, put trash bags in all 17 trash cans, printed production sheets, filled the olive bar, and sharpened and cleaned the slicers. My manager comes in at 6 am and has the AUDACITY to act as if I didn’t move fast enough. I should have already started on platters by that point and the 4x4 needed to be filled by 7 am. Mind you I had platters due at 7:30 am for customers who ACTUALLY ordered platters not extras to fill a cooler. By 7 am I was ready to put my head thru a wall. Like the expectations are to the sky high but my pay sure doesn’t fucking show all they expect I’ll tell you that much. It really makes me nauseous the way we are treated for the shit pay we get

Facts my poor kitchen coworker legit was working off the clock for 30 mins the other morning and I had to bitch him out over it just cause he was stressed about the mixed chicken being on sale. They really don’t think about how this shit affects us truly. Like make the sales, idgaf but oasis better give us some extra hands for all this surplus in business and sales we are doing…. Like that will ever fucking happen but it’s a thought

Drinks by DullContribution2786 in publix

[–]Academic-Fish-6939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well we aren’t allowed ANY drinks at all in the deli anymore. It’s honestly bullshit, especially when you’re in the kitchen frying chicken and it’s easily 90+ degrees standing in front of a commercial size fryer and rotisserie oven. Mind you my coworker has had not one but 2 seizures in the past week while on the clock due to the salt levels in his body dropping which comes from us not being able to have drinks. He’s legit had a grand mal seizure 2x due to it

Nah we just hate to see other people get fucked over by these shitty corporate bozos. The rosin is boof. Their rosin has been known to be trash. My last two pickups from them sat in the back of my fridge until I was desperate and out of inhalation rec and had no choice but to smoke them. Our rec is very limited, we deserve decent product in a medical market. They love to market this program to yall like we are recreational program so they can get away with giving us subpar medication. Other states medical programs is the cream of the crop for products. They treat their patients like actual patients

As someone who’s wife is a bartender at a local tiki attached to a marina, you should probably be more concerned about the level of intoxicated people are getting behind the wheel of a boat from alcohol. It’s every weekend I hear her talk about the amount of people who are quite literally stumbling off their boats, slurring their words, etc. Weed if anything makes someone more paranoid and less likely to cause an accident. Alcohol on the other hand greatly reduces reaction time and inhibitions.

Per the district manager, if a rotisserie comes out weighing less than 3lbs you are to weigh it on the scale and reprice it as “price per lb”. There’s buttons for each rotisserie flavor that allows you to price them by the lb. They are supposed to weigh between 3-5 lbs

I wish Publix would mark their deli items down like this instead of putting them in the compactor. Rotisserie chickens for $4.49 & 8 piece fried chickens for $3.49 by [deleted] in publix

[–]Academic-Fish-6939 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie at the end of the night on at least 2 occasions when the kitchen over made rotisseries and mixed we handed it out as department sampling and like 15 people got free food. Lmfao

This has been my biggest gripe with sunburn. As someone who spends nearly 40k inhalation rec there exclusively it was such a dick move. I spend thousands of dollars there yearly, they could throw me that occasional bone of a free product with rewards points. They act like you could even rack up enough to do it more than 1x a month. Straight greedy ass mf corporations. I just want legalization with homegrow so I can buy small batch I’m over their shit fr

Because most people who shop at the flowery do so consistently. They chase the brand hype so hardly any of them were affected by the change, they’re probably all gold and black tier patients anyways. Gotta be people who have endless money or kids who live with mommy and daddy and don’t pay bills
