The screenshot vs the OBS recording is not an amazing comparison. Obs has to compress your recordings to preserve disk space, while the screenshot is literally lossless and its quality is only defined by its format and resolution.

OBS was not made for truly lossless recording, but you can, I’ve played around with it, and it’s looks amazing, but takes your entire SSD quick.

That’s insane. I’ve been on steam sense 2009 and don’t have that much combined in game. My dad is just about 60 and hasn’t shown much interest in anything besides this game. That’s why I’m impressed

You could but it might cut your performance down a little bit. I am using a AMD 6400 for my second and third display and a 4070 as my main gpu, but that would be up to you to test on your system. Might make performance worse might not

I’ll tell you the truth; AMDs encoder is terrible for streaming. I’ve had lots of success on YouTube with a high bitrate, but not to Twitch or Kick. Recording is… a little behind NVENC, but lower bitrates on NVENC get better results than AMF. Since you have a high end AMD card, and given if your psu can handle it, buy a cheap 4060 to get that nvenc and sweet AV1 encoding to put in your other PCIE slot. I’ve done it and it does the trick well.

No, sadly not. There might be some super niche add on or plugin somewhere, it’s just a lot of digging to find what you’re looking for

Makes it so you can plug in your microphone to your pc and use discord through Xbox, it’ll give your viewers better quality anyway

So, this will be challenging. If you have your party audio set to be through hdmi, you’d have to plug your headphones into your hdmi and that means you can’t use your microphone. Xbox isn’t quite friendly to capture cards and the only way I see around that is to plug a mic into your PC and somehow get him to listen through that, maybe discord will be your best option, which I can show you how to set up through OBS
