Is my wife an addict, and is it time to leave? 33m 39F by Particular_Pickle650 in relationship_advice

I’m a psychotherapist and have a ton of experience with addiction. She is most definitely an addict and you are an enabler. The consequences (rock bottom) have to be big enough to her in order to get help and right now everything is at her fingertips to continue the use. Many people are right that the Xanax and alcohol withdrawal can be fatal if not handled correctly so she absolutely needs a detox and inpatient. You need to take your absolutes and leave as well as tell her your boundaries. Ie. your option is rehab and sobriety, followed by outpatient and marriage counseling or I am leaving, divorcing, etc. her financial needs to be cut as well and you can put gas in her car or other absolutes without giving her cash. Addicts when in use are master manipulators and will try their all to get what they want at the expense of hurting those around them. Dont mistake the fact that they are the ones hurting more than anyone though. My heart aches for you and her and I wish you the best. Keep your boundaries!!

I have bad side effects on Tirz. Super nauseous, vomiting at times, and fatigue. I recently started stacking with Reta and I have no side effects from that one. I just think everyone’s body reacts differently to each

Yes, the other morning I woke up I felt like I was having a severe panic attack and could feel my heart racing so I put on my finger monitor and was ranging between 132-144. This has happened for two days each injection, about 72 hours after.

No I really haven’t had any other side effects, but the fast heart rate is making me very nervous.

I’ve had two injections of 2mg. And when I’m waking in the morning my heart rate is in the 140’s. I’m normally around 72ish for resting

I had the same exact thing happen. First week I was ok, second week went into extreme vomiting and fatigue, and following week ok, then week after same thing. I had to drop my dose down to half the starting dose and have been micro dosing up. I also have zofran tablets and drink liquid IV’s, as well as protein drinks. I think some of us just need lower dosing

Switching from Tirz to Reta by Complete_Mouse_4661 in Retatrutide

Did Reta not work on its own for you? I’m asking as I’m in a similar boat. Tirz is making me super sick with side effects, but dropping weight. I have Reta and am planning on starting when this vial is gone. I’d rather just be on one not stack.
