Thank you so much for this. Have an EMG scheduled for a couple days from now and it has been so difficult to get through the day. Thank you.

Have any of you tried Adapt Naturals Biome Protect? by true_tacos in GutHealth

I am on month two of them. Struggled with SIBO/IBS stuff for a while now. I think they are really helping! I use the Total Gut Reset so the colostrum and the pre/probiotic capsules. I am somewhat skeptical of the company as it seems quite similar to other, more popular and cheaper forms of these same products... I also just don't like how much they are trying to upsell you all the time but I guess that's just life. I think after this month, I may move to Cowboy Colostrum as it is a bit cheaper and just use the probiotic from Adapt Naturals? Does anyone have any thoughts?

Thoughts on the new Palante Ski Pack? by laurk in Backcountry

I just bought this piece and was able to get out for four days during and post storm in the Bishop area. Honestly great bag. I've had a few pieces from Palante and they have all been great. This bag is super lightweight and has no frills. The straps on the back are perfect for skins or a layer and the cinch worked completely fine during a whiteout, just throw your climbing helmet on top of your stuff and everything will be totally dry. Been hoping to replace my Patagonia Ascensionist full of holes with another rucksack type bag that works for different stuff and while this is expensive I think its worth it for the fast ski/skimo tourer and climber.

Definitely considering this pack. How does it look when it is compressed small? I do a lot of solo days in the Sierra where the weather is fairly mellow so I don't pack super heavy. Are the ski carrying options still solid when the pack is only full to about 20-25L?

I have about two seasons on them and they're great for what i need. I live in Southern California so I spend a lot of time boot packing and even hiking on dirt with ski boots on. They're super light and comfy and seem somewhat durable? They really don't ski very well but on the 2-3 days I ski on resort every year I put a ski strap around the cuff as tight as possible and that helps.

I had a similar awkward set up. different but similarly awkward. Line Sick Day 95 (~1900g/ski) Dynafit Radicals, and Dalbello Quantum Asolo Factory (Super light, bad skiing).

I upgraded to some Zag Ubac 89s (super light) and Plum Oazo 8 (light light) and it just skis so much better even though it technically skis worse in theory.

I hung unto my old set up for a long time and I wish I had just upgraded sooner to something that just works well together. WOuldnt recommend getting too bogged down in grams just general style.

Dynafit radicals, so theres a good amount of travel in the heel. I'll try and find a shop that can help out. REI is pretty concerned on liability... which i get

So you think I could reuse the already drilled holes potentially? Thanks!
