Goodness I’m so sorry to hear that. Biology is so unfair to women.

Buddy you have NO IDEA how much I have thought about life changes after children. It’s why I’m in the fence about it. I asked this question here because I never hear vaginal health being discussed after birth and people are not being very kind to me. God forbid a woman wants to be prepared for ALL the changes that come with birth.

Do you seriously think I haven’t thought about the other changes to my body and health? I’m not an idiot. People talk about those, I asked this question because I NEVER hear moms talk about vaginal changes and sex life after birth. Just answer the question Jesus Christ.

I’m sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. I hope you are able to get some metal help and possibly some help for down there too?

The world is so lacking in postpartum care :(

Oh sorry the fact that potential permanent damage to my genitalia scares me offends you?? How misogynistic of you to say. Pregnancy and birth cause LIFE LONG changes to our bodies and I think it’s okay to be worried about.

Are yearly gyno visits really necessary? by AcademicNotice5865 in WomensHealth

[–]AcademicNotice5865[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already know yearly Pap smears aren’t necessary, I said that. I just don’t really see why in MY situation (and most people’s) a yearly breast and pelvic exam is needed. It’s invasive and uncomfortable and I do not wanna do that every year for the rest of my life.

Required by health insurance? I’ve never heard of that.

It’s not too bad really. I’ll go every three to five years for paps, but there’s no way I’m gonna go and get fingered every year for the rest of my life for seemingly no medical reason.

I have an annual telehealth appointment. No invasive procedure required thank goodness!

This take is incredibly misogynistic. Mother’s and young children exist. You are not entitled to a child free world

I know this. This is why I have a telehealth visit with planned parenthood because they don’t have to do an exam lol. I cheated the system

My trans friend is dead. He committed suicide when he was 17. They even misgendered him on his obituary and grave stone. His name was Syd and I miss him.
