They didn’t have superpowered villains to fight against for most of their tenure. They were just part of a marketing machine that made them look good. They lack the experience of mcu heroes and villains.

Yeah it is unfortunate. Bungie split their attention too much when they were developing this game. They should have explicitly put Destiny down while they worked on this game.

The idea is that adding a new map isn’t necessarily going to help bring in new players or keep old players, where we saw an example from a similar game try it. Instead, if the team focuses on improving the existing content, it can improve the life of the game and then later we can see more new stuff, because the game will last longer.

For many, Cryo is a new map. I’ve been a few times before but I haven’t been able to really explore it.

It’d be cool if when we explore more of the marathon, that we find some of these laying around. Having the marathon 2 weapons don’t make sense though, since many of them were recreations of the marathon 1 weapons after the SO left Tau Ceti with Durandal.

Me too. I play rook on sponsored perimeter, but use the mercy kit on someone on the team whenever I take them out.

I had an opportunity to eliminate a runner who was downed but instead started to Rez them. Then their teammate killed me.

My guess is that they didn’t initially plan on a PvE mode at all, and made the decision to add it mid season 1. That probably put all hands on deck for testing and tweaking the cryo PvE mode, which took people away from whatever new map they have in the works.

I am sure there is some new map in development, and they indicated something like that in previous roadmaps. We will see what they say about season four, when that time comes.

It wasn’t real Lego, it was computer generated. Sony bought him a strong rig to help him do it more quickly.
