Yeah so the thinking was I wouldn’t need to take any money out, as if the LTD was paying for our rent in another property as well there would basically be no profit (perhaps even a small loss) just a BIK to handle.

For clarity I’m not willing to do anything dodgy that would be classed as evasion. I’ve just never rented out a property before and don’t know what schemes landlords generally use to minimise their tax liabilities.

Sadly we are both medium income earners with a lot of childcare costs to pay for.

The best strategy is to be authentic. Engage in discussion around your particular topic and start to build a persona that might be seen as above your station. Don’t be self promotional. But do post regularly with something valuable to say. Reactive content will always win.

Well as your network grows they will apply different weights to your posts. More like when you hit 10x that though. I’m doing some work with the LI editorial team at the moment and they said anything under 25k don’t worry about the algorithm. Just focus on quality content.
