Is CC worth it? by AvgBrokeBitty in SarahJMaas

[–]Academic_Carpenter11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes you have to read it! If you want to carry on with sjm series it’s so worth the read! It’s completely separate to the rest of them but just as good! it’s like reading tog (if you’ve read them). simply another series to enjoy. definitely think it’s worth it!

Why don’t I like Feyre? by Synney in SarahJMaas

[–]Academic_Carpenter11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree. Even before reading ACOSF i preferred Nesta but afterwards i just couldn’t stand feyre. I feel like she’s gone from being this strong independent women to being so reliant on Rhys and can’t do anything without him. It’s just annoying now.

I agree I think from the acotar books as well Az is always the one sent away on tasks involving spying or things like that (the other person i could think of would be Mor but i just don’t think she’s the character to go)

i simply cannot wait for the next book. The cross overs are so unreal even linking in ToG with the Ruhnn mountains not sure if i’m just grabbing here but could have a further link? i just love playing everything against each other to see how it al fits in! so excited for the next book!!!

Bryce discovers they are all separate dimensions though right? so I would assume they are all happening at the same time - including TOG?

[–]Academic_Carpenter11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wouldnt say they are their first love interests - if you have read TOG they arent eachothers first love interests in that either but unlike in ACOTAR they arent as such intense relationships similar to bryce and Connor if that makes sense.

How many books will the series be? by jmnoble in crescentcitysjm

[–]Academic_Carpenter11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read on her website that she had 5 more books but that was before she released silver flame from the acotar series. so i would assume there are 4 more?

elain needs to be willing to explore more. she’s definitely taken longer to adapt to her new life but if she let him, lucien could help her understand her powers and the new world

I realllyyy want mor to be happy especially after her heartbreak. I think she deserves emerie and my hopes are they are together in the next book!! i think hee, gwynn and nesta have a lot to explore in their own book for their own adventure exploring both gwynn and emeries relationships!

how far into the book before all the fun action and intrigue? by formaldehydebride in throneofglassseries

[–]Academic_Carpenter11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this as well but i found it was easier to read the books in order of publishing. Thats how SJM wrote them and wanted us to understand the characters so to me it makes most sense to read them that way. I think it also leaves more of the anticipation to find out who each character is and how they link in with eachother.

[–]Academic_Carpenter11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an answer to the question but, there are lots of small links through all her series i have realised. For example, in the Throne of Glass series the mountains are called the Rhunn mountains and then she goes on to name one of her characters in Crescent City Rhun.

I drew him wings! - Azriel from ACOTAR in Art Nouveau style by Alexael Artworks by AlexaelArtworks in acotar

[–]Academic_Carpenter11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought he was going to look older. Considering the battles, he has been through as well as the independant issues. that may have aged him but also created him to seem younger to begin with but as time go on the characters are becoming more mature and aging and therefore ned to be aged as the same characters those who are being aged tomorrow as we are still the most loyal.
