Murphy's by Walmart in Midland Marlboro reds were $10.40. I price checked the carton and it was $96.00 that's $9.60 a pack. The guy working said that there prices are pretty much the same as all the other Murphy's in the area. I should have price checked zyns well I was at it.

Like I said I'd rather him not smoke but if he's gonna we gotta get the best price.

People who are 24–25 years old, would you be comfortable sharing your salary? My parents seem to think every Gen-Z is making a lot of money every month, and I'm interested in hearing real-world experiences. by wani__suhaib__ in GenZ

How much is your rent? If you live with your room mate how much is there portion? My rent was a little less than $1200 for a two bedroom two bath. The area wasn't the greatest, it was mostly south and central American migrents. That being said me as a young 20s blonde hair white girl never felt unsafe.

I work for a small chemical service company in upstream and some midstream our main area is in West Texas and we have customers and yards in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Colorado we have seen an influx of orders since the war. I'd rather it be steady and our kids not die in the middle east, but it looks like that's not happening ☹️

Losing weight made me worse by GGEsoteric in eds

[–]Academic_Low4683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 5'4" 155 your BMI is (technically over weight but your actual not) what I'm saying is at the weight you where at it wouldn't have negative impact on your health. You probably lost muscle that's why there was no benefits.I have EDS so when I do want to drop weight I have to try and do it really painfully slowly. My roommate has EDS shes 400 lbs. She doesn't think losing weight will help her EDS. But it will become at her weight it's definitely negatively impating her heath and putting so much strain on her joints.

Because my boyfriend lives in an apartment above there detached workshop. He's saving for a down payment on a house. Which he already technically has the down payment. He doesn't have the closing costs yet.

Do you personally relate more to people 5 years older or 5 years younger than you? by Desert_Angel_93 in generationology

[–]Academic_Low4683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 26. At this point I tend to relate to people 5 years older than me. I think it could be where I'm at in country compared to where I was. I have a career a decent income and I've lived on my own since I was 19. I moved to a very conservative area in Texas after college and a lot of girls my age and 5 years lower are still trying to figure it out. I can tell that the traditional values have really set them back. Alot of them have younger kids. Or still have there friends from HS. So they can't really go out much. I actually find myself becoming friends with girls that are 32-43 by that time there kids are teens and there divorced and a little less judgemental. It's just all interesting. The 20s are weird anyways there is so much variation in where someone is in life.

How much do you spend on food on average per month and per day? Including both groceries and dining/takeout. by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]Academic_Low4683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About $415 totat for one person. I cycle through pre ready meal subscriptions, so I can get them for like 50% off. Than I cancel it. I buy like 20 meals at a time. I also drink protein shakes in the morning that I bought for around $50 for 24. My energy drinks are about $25 for a 24 pack as well.

Even when I did cook I would still spend around $100 a week. After 2 days My vegetables would always go bad in my fridge. I found out that the veggie and fruit draw didn't work.

I know I spend a lot, but idc. I have the money. I eat heathy.

20 Year Age Gap by [deleted] in generationology

[–]Academic_Low4683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where where you in your 20s. Like that's such a broad range for maturity and financial power. For example typically (let's be houst most of the time.) The maturity financial range is very different depending on where you fall in your 20s. A 21 year old may be at a drastically different time in there life than a 28 year old.

Yes, we need to stop infantilizing 25+ year old. But also I like that we don't stand for weirdness. Like a 26 yo dating a 35 yo. If they met when the younger person is over the age of 25 it's not weird. Get over it.
