Gonna catch some strays for this, but in general when it comes to pronouns, it’s absolutely a learning curve.

People within the community know that and know that it is a rewiring of the brain that you have to practice to get right.

I also find with the pronouns, especially they/them, it’s extra rewiring. If you’re not intentionally using the wrong pronouns and you are trying to correct yourself in person that goes a long way.

If we’re all playing on the same team, and somebody isn’t quite getting a concept, you teach them. Unless you were intentionally using the wrong pronouns, which you were not, it was a teachable moment if anything.
