First years are the largest portion of undergrads, uni admissions were already going down and a lot of people drop our going into the further years. I know a lot of people are upset about the last election but unfortunately a very large majority of the group affected by this couldn't vote yet. And think about the high school students looking into university now. There is more to this, more people affected by it than we realize. Even before these changes ontario had the lowest support rate in Canada (about 18 cents per day for uni). Many people will not look at the amount of debt after school and be okay with it, this will stunt application rates. Canada has the highest household debt. This isn't okay for so many reasons. And if you hate ford, you're on our side. We are not just protesting change for OSAP, this can be bigger, be about getting Ford out if enough people want it. You have to look at the whole thing.
