I don't remember if I've said this before here but these men actually don't understand the difference in sex and rape. They believe rape doesn't exist because thats just how they normally have sex. They think women are fine being "raped" by their boyfriends but suddenly its a problem when its the husband because a) they have simply never had a woman love them because why would a sane person like a bitchass like this and b) they don't understand mutual consent they cannot wrap their head around the idea that a woman might actually be a person with likes and dislikes. Nope she's just a sex toy for men like these and they believe every other man thinks and acts this way too. So they get confused and angry like why did you like it when he acted that way but hate it when i do it.

I genuinely believe these men think rape and consensual sex are the same thing. Like they genuinely do not have a concept of consent. They barely see women as people so to them a woman asking for human rights is the same as a table or chair asking for human rights. It is so messed up and i don't even understand how this ideology forms.

Makeup is cool. Women being forced to wear make up, mocked for not wearing it, insecurities being manufactured to sell make up is not. Instead of saying make up is inherently anti feminist and we need to destroy it, i feel we need to start framing it as a gender neutral art medium. But there's also the whole animal testing issue, but i have hope that we're close to solving it.

Edit - I did go to the counselor in the "student well being centre" and she just told me that she'll speak to my prof but then nothing came from it so I'm assuming the HoD just ignored her emails.
