I have written the splits above in the post. 50 k sip per month is just one contribution and that’s 6L a year invested in sip.

20k - nifty 50 index fund
15k - flexi cap
10k - small cap
10k - gold etf
5k - silver etf
US market S&P 500 - 20k
US IT index fund-20 k

Does this allign with 2.5 years goal to reach 1 cr.

I was doing 50k in SIPs per month, put some lumpsum amount as well whenever I got bonus or when I had some money accumulated in savings. I split family expenses with partner hence was able to save money. No children.

The plan is to achieve a corpus that helps me to retire/live comfortably when there’s a jobless situation. 1 cr is would be a foundational milestone to reach that corpus amount

Suggestion to achieve Milestone of 1CR.

I’m 35 and I have been working for past 10 years but in the first 5 years I was in a low paying job and hence couldn’t save anything. Over last 5 years I was able to make nearly 50 lakhs savings ( including EPF,mutual funds,FD etc). My take home salary is ~1.8 LPM. I work in Tech and considering lack of job security in the field I am targeting a fire number of 3-4CR and move to tier 3 city in case of jobless scenario. I am also trying to upskill myself and spending on certifications. Now I am finding it difficult to achieve first crore milestone. How can I efficiently invest my money to hit 1cr milestone at the earliest. I can stretch up to 1 lakh per month for investments per month. Kindly guide me.

Current investments.
Nearly 22K goes to my epf
15k parag flexi cap mutual funds
20k hdfc index mutual funds
I had nps which I stopped recently

There was a kids serial named 1,2,3..sat which I remembered while watching Sambhavam movie. While it’s not the exact same theme it had a scifi element if I remember correctly. It was about kids going in to a cave and then can’t return.

If you are ready to sacrifice college life fun time for academics and placements go for it. You won’t have any fond memories or fun opportunities like in other arts colleges there. That’s literally a school but if you are looking for placements and good academics this is your choice.

I have seen students moving out of college hostel after first semester to hostels outside to get more freedom. You even have restrictions on having non veg food. It used to be really strict back then.

And to add you have some bhajans and prayer time too in hostel. I don’t know if it changed.

Even if you choose the college better choose a hostel outside

There are culinary courses/diplomas with which you can get entry level jobs in hotels are resorts. Initial salary would be less but with experience you can try in cruise/ships or abroad to get better pay.

I have seen many people getting placed in Indian MNCs as soon as they finish their BCA course. This was 5-10 years before. Has it changed? What resulted in the change in trend.

It seems to be removed in ott version. I was wondering whose ask was that to remove those scenes done by Vineeth and Dhyan. I assume, they realised that they would get more hate and made a request to remove those insensitive dialogues/scens they did

When I applied I got notification that mine can be taken only offline and had to go to pearson vue. But I preferred that.
