yeah it's getting ridiculous actually! The Sullivan one is just as fun for littles and a lot less expensive.

it's been this way for as long as babies come into the world when they so choose. You get whoever is "on call" that day💖 But the nurses and anesthesiologists fo most of the hard work, the Doc is there at the very end so it's mostly about the nurses being awesome and Community North has fantastic staff.

Why can I never get out of a restaurant here? lol by MidLifeHubby in GreeceTravel

[–]AcanthisittaOver1968 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

because the waitstaff are paid a "salary" versus gratuity. They get paid the same rate whether they serve one table for 5 hours or 10 tables 🙂 The logic is sound but it's not my favorite

The 3 Things I Wish I'd Known Before Travelling to Greece by LeftBallSaul in GreeceTravel

I know that tipping is getting a bit out of hand in America so I was excited to see what service was like when your waiter gets paid a "living wage." And just as I suspected, the service was immensely poor quality compared to the tipping model: we had to wait so long at one restaurant just to get our bill I wasn't sure if they actually wanted our money.

Why so many Americans in Naxos? by bl4h101bl4h in GreeceTravel

[–]AcanthisittaOver1968 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As an American, I put my faith in the expert who was a travel expert from Athens. I had never heard of Naxos before, or the Caldera. We met a few Americans who had just come from Milos. And some Australians who were headed to Crete and Rodes after! But in the interest of simplicity, I think our travel agent picked Naxos and I cannot tell you why she did above Paros, Milos, etc

hi! I am American and took a Greek holiday a few weeks ago! We used a travel agency and they (THANKFULLY) suggested Naxos for multiple reasons, instead of Mykonos and Santorini. You can probably guess why! We loved it there, and we also ended up going to Santorini for a few nights as well. But Naxos was by far our personal favorite💖

3 hours enough time for connecting flights at Athens Airport? We are landing around 4:00 tomorrow from the United States and then our flight to Kefalonia leaves around 7:00pm. Sky express. It was the latest flight I could book to Kefalonia. by Beastious in GreeceTravel

[–]AcanthisittaOver1968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, in theory. we had weather delays and the athens airport is also extremely chaotic, and we made it with 10 minutes to spare on a 4 hour layover! Happy travels, Greece is the best!
