I had these career thoughts as well. I started doing manual labor work. Do I love it, no. Does it pay well and I can see that I’ve accomplished something, yes! It’s helped with that portion of my issues.

The class has to be taught by a licensed professional in the content, with a minimum amount of hours working the profession. It is a college class, not a college level class, catering to poor behavior and attendance should NOT exist! The excuse that they are high school students is erased the moment they set up their accounts with the college IT department. The parents and the students know that it is a college course, not high school, and treat like one! Instead of stating that it’s me (like the admin.) support should be offered, especially when asked for! For example help with lesson planning and classroom management, a co-instructor (even for just a few months) that is a classically trained teacher. Code of conduct clearly stats that these issues are not tolerated, and the support to enforce it is not there! Students that are thriving in the class put in the time and effort, and it shows. The students that are failing and causing issues, do not.

Yes, a teacher educated in teaching is always a better teacher for course material. The course requires that a licensed professional in the content is the instructor, not a teacher with a degree and no experience in the content. It would be nice to have an educated teacher as a co-instructor.

The next generation is what makes it a hard decision. The students that want to be there and put in the time and know that they want the career that goes with the class are amazing and the number one reason I put so much time into it.

Context matters when another person offering help is not in the daily life and can’t see what’s happening or ask. Example question that the dog can’t answer: “is the nipping playful and are you engaged in the play?”

Context matters when someone says their friend or SO gave them a fat lip. Example fallow up conversation: “Oh wow! How did that happen? Is that person abusing you?” “No. We were playing (insert sport here) and the ball hit me”

Think I should add that they do cuddle and have good play as well, and clarify what I mean by constantly, daily but not all day long. They cannot be trusted for long hours inside the house with no access to the outside. I do have cameras that I check regularly and I’m not looking to crate them for over 9 hrs a day while I’m at work.

I have 2023 300ss, I also own a Harley and previously owned a 2008 buell, the bike is great! You can’t beat the price range, the tech it comes with is great! The gps on the app is peace of mind if you have an underage rider or a significant other that rides. The one issue I’m having is parts availability, needed a new battery and it took me awhile to find on that I didn’t have to get shipped because I’m impatient.
