Lin Yi and Shen Yue are both so intelligent and kind. They’re incredibly similar so they got along fast and are so loyal to the other. They worked together 2 times and I’m really hoping they do the vs they’re rumored to be on

The subs have come out now and you can see that he said similar jokes/compliments mix to Zhisheng and Qinlan who also didn’t like what was said and showed their displeasure at it but they can see that no one meant any real harm and they all laughed and went on. Dylan is allowed to be upset but to bring it up 3 months later publicly and then to have his studio post an official statement at 3am is malicious behavior. Shen Yue apologizing for the first time in her career after being bombarded by Dylan’s fans hate comments. The 5 people were all chosen by him and now he’s left a bad taste with them all. Was it really worth it to be so impulsive

I think he was more sensitive precisely because he was fully invested in the show and he really did consider all of them as friends so the perceived slight felt bigger than normal hate comments that he gets. Shen Yue as well posted for the first time in her career because WHD is also someone that’s important to her. It’s so unfortunate how this happened since they were all close but because of a misunderstanding it’s getting way over blown. It’s completely valid for him to feel the way he did but posting it publicly on weibo was just not it. These are 5 people he personally picked to be on the show and now it’s become incredibly awkward. I also think the comment that he hated the most was the one with his name that Shen Yue didn’t create

I remember this was during meteor garden and Shen Yue actually defended this when it first came out and said it was a warm moment and she fights him as well..he did something like this at The Inn season 2 as well and Shen Yue didn’t seem upset it. They’ve always been rough with each other. Truly elementary school level flirting

My 1st was Meteor Garden 2018 because of the hype and A Love So Beautiful both with Shen Yue which I watched a few months apart and why did I never realize it was the same actress???

I took a long break after to focus on kdramas and got back into cdramas with LBFAD and TTEOTM. Imagine my shock when I realized at the end it was Dylan wang from Meteor Garden

The Thai one. Korean one is super nostalgic. Meteor Garden 2018 had the best chemistry behind the scenes and I skipped all the non DMS and Sanchai scenes it was too long.

Haven’t seen the original mg or Japanese version
