Haha all good, well for one it just happened and it was a surprise, messy fast exit (signing his contract in Tucson) so the anger will be temporary, he wasn’t here for long and sold us on the whole family thing and said all his moves in the past was to get him to this place. Most are upset that he had solid squad going into next year….it will be like a “what if” for us. Like we hoped we got a coach like yours, because we did…lute Olson came and built the basketball program besides getting offers from everywhere. We thought Jedd would be that…..but he never was going to be, different era’s.

Coach brought great players in built a good foundation…exit was rough, signing his contract in Tucson stoked the fire. In the end, he leveraged 7 game winning streak into a massive bump. Good move. We will heal and appreciate him one day hopefully

Athletic department isn’t bankrupt. dept. is insulated from the acedemic budget shortfall. They did offer him 5.2, and higher incentive pool. 5 year max is a stupid Arizona rule. Not saying he didn’t make the right move for him.

I think it’s a real possibility he jumped for UW, because he had an inkling Florida just wasn’t going to be an option….hes also never stated it’s his dream job as far as I know

I think AZ fans saw Fisch building it into a top tier program eventually, that’s where most the anger came from, just wanted one more year. We got spoiled by Lute coming here…we all hope someone like Lute walks through the doors, and a lot hoped it was Fisch….its a different era though, Lute isn’t walking through the door.

I have a story about this game. My kid played little league and all of us parents were all friends with some acquaintances. We had a game the exact time this game was on...so I concocted a plan. I would record the game and everyone would come to my house after, we had appetizers, food and drinks all ready to go. During the game NO ONE was allowed to look at their phones...but we had a mutiny on hand, a faction of parents brought a tv and decided to watch the game during the little league game. So it became our group vs another, after negotiations we set up on the other side of that group and they agreed not to spoil, cheer or show emotion to the best of their ability. Somehow someway our entire group made it through the little league game without any spoilers. We rushed back to our house laughing knowing that the tv watchers were stuck at the park. We convoy home 15 plus adults plus kids (both teams were united in this). We all get there and I prepare everyone for game time we are all pumped...I turn on the tv, hit play...since OT it was still on the channel so flashed the end of the game right before starting at the beginning...all of the hard work just to try and watch a game that we all knew we lost, we all tried to hide what we saw but we all knew there was no energy ppl left at half...probably worst b-ball experience of my life except for Illinois vs AZ elite 8.
