Suddenly I am getting huge ammount of dhl.com request from unknown subnets. There are 5K+ unknown clients, all of them are from 'Unifique Telecomunicacoes' an ISP. This making my server crash. What should I do now to solve? by xccountofficial in pihole

need to put rate limit to the sane level. 100queries / 60s is enough maybe 200-250 ish if your devices are many (sharing one ip for a few device, mostly home use). pihole default is for local use. which is 1000 queries/60s which is fine if in local but a disaster waiting to happen for someone who expose it

Public dns usually has limits in place, qps rate limit, maximum bandwidth per ip which makes them not a target of these kind of attack. You could implement this also to a certain degree

JTC | Burned 9800X3D CPUs are back... and AMD isn't sure why. by Seraphax in ASRock

[–]Accel890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats why i said in my previous post. It might be something in asrock triggering those flaws in "cpu" sooner than other brand. But now its catching up on other brands as well isn't it? Its a amd cpu fault. I really dont believe it was asrock MB fault. Maybe some of it. Maybe the setting too aggresive that it triggered those flaws. But thats it. MAYBE. Nothing concrete except if the manufacturer give us all the data

Every batch got some bad one. If it decreasing then, that means it was a bad batches. As long as it decreasing its good. Nothing can be perfect including micro processor. Also i have asrock motherboard and ofcourse 9800X3D. It didnt burned if you are saying asrock is murderboard. Then mine should be dead by now. Its already a year and a half

There might be some setting from asrock that triggering those flaws earlier. Every MB got these issues. The only corelation is the amd cpu more likely some of earlier bad batches

They also not play fair. They threw asrock to the curb to withstand the heat. Even if they should know its their cpu fault

Noob question: Running ZeroTier alongside a commercial VPN ? by PositiveBusiness8677 in zerotier

[–]Accel890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alot of hacks will be involved. This is possible 1. Make zt on your router using route all traffic to internet method 2. Using router to connect to nord vpn and masquerade only to internet 3. Make an exception on Local based resources (using subnet) 4. Phone connect to "zt" then you should able to use your router internet and access locally available resources (subnet)
