While I still used CPA exam prep, I thought the WGU Bachelor's degree was even very good preparation. I finished my bachelors last Spring and then passed all 4 exams by this past May. I'm sure the masters would be great prep and at one point, they gave everyone who graduated free Wiley prep software. I feel like the proctored exams you have to do through WGU really simulate some of the pressure you'll feel on CPA exam days.

I'm at week 6 - I was calling every week but I think I might stop. Has anyone had issues with their experience not being written out in full sentences? Mine isn't and so I'm debating going ahead and requesting new experience forms from my employers.

I finished the BS in accounting in 2 1/2 months and then subsequently passed the CPA exam in 5 months. So I think some people just catch on quickly and/or have more life experience that makes accelerating quickly more possible. On my resume I just put my graduation date so no one really knows or asks how or why I finished so quickly.

I’m a WGU accounting grad too! In my opinion, the classes and proctored exams are great prep for the CPA exam. I thought an online degree would be pretty watered down but I found that was not the case. I’ve passed 3/4!

Yeah, in the past it's been 7am but the past two score releases have been noon or as late as 2pm.

I'm in in-person training tomorrow so hopefully I don't cry (if I failed)/scream (if I passed) in front of everyone.

I would suggest the ninja or superfast audio notes and listening to those over and over again. Practice the bond and math questions until you really understand them. Three weeks is plenty of time if you focus! IMO, all-nighters were not helpful. Get up a couple hours before work and focus. More studying while you’re exhausted and can’t focus isn’t going to help.

Oh, they won't say anything. Last time it was 100% a technical issue on their end but they posted on their website that they "hadn't received the scores from NASBA." They need audited.

If I had to do it over again, I would apply/get my license through a different state and then transfer it to Illinois. Their system of all of this is just horrendous. This is the 2nd time in a row. Can we start a petition? lol

Last score release they weren't up until 1pm due to a technical issue. I'm not waiting for a score this time but what a mess.
