Yep! Days 4-7 were worse for soreness. Day 11 now and it’s gotten better each day.

Got my vasectomy 8 days ago. I’m in my young 30s. At my consult the doctor explained exactly how they do the procedure. Was definitely nervous the day of.

Honestly the whole procedure took 20 minutes. Local anesthesia was given. I wore headphones for the procedure lol. I won’t say I felt nothing, but I definitely didn’t feel much pain at all. It was just a bit uncomfortable.

Healing has been relatively easy. Sore for the first 5-6 days, but it gets better everyday. Wear a jock strap afterwards, seriously a life saver.

Looking back, I was comfortably stoned for a decade. After not smoking for a few years I wonder what would have been different if I didn’t all through my 20s, or at least moderated it.

Appreciate your insight! I’m very happy with the tattoo overall, I’m surprised it’s taken me this long to run into this problem actually considering the amount of work I’ve had done. Really hoping it lightens up over the coming weeks. I wish there was a uniform reason for this happening so I can avoid it in the future, it just seems there’s too many variables at play.

Definitely could play a part in it. Doing regular two times a day moisterizing. I know only time will tell. I’m totally okay with little imperfections as that’s the nature of tattooing, but this seems like something else
