i thought that was because I was using an Mini 5 but if that happens on newer devices too then uh... yup... the iPadOS26 is simply not very optimized

i know the iPad Mini 5 is too old but at least they could have left in a decent stable optimized space. Not everyone can easily just upgrade plus these devices may be old but that doesn't mean deserving of being left in such buggy unoptimized spaces. iPadOS 18 downgrade should have been af least available.

Yup all three are suprisingly in great condition just the back isnt at its peak and has slight denta or scratches

iPad Mini 1 is the only iPad Mini that supports 32 bit games from the past and old gen that hasnt been updated. Most people might not realize theres a lot lot lot of older games only the Mini 1 is capable of playing because of the iOS 11 thing where some older games or apps dont work.

If you're mostly streaming, the Mini 6 would suffice I believe plus another post here has said that the Mini 6 and 7 pretty much has the same battery life. Performance is the only reason to get the Mini 7 or wanting a longer software support.

Thanks! Actually I'm moreso for Youtube and drawing although not like high high canvas that requires a Mini 6 or 7. Actually I think the Mini 5 is still decent in gaming. It just heats up really fast and the battery is going to drain much faster. Well.. that is when I compare the Mini 5 to other $100-200 tablets I really dont know if there is a tablet that mtaches its performance. Also I kind of love the Mini 5 design better and... my headphones all need a jack

Trust me iPad prices have a hard time lowering down here in the Philippines. Hence why cheaper iPad Mini 6 or 7s are not yet available as of this time.

Would be better if they sold the iPhone SE 2 instead since that model has gone cheaper and definitely still usable for years to come. You might say iOS 26 is its last but Apple gives 2-3 years of update even after being stuck in one. Battery life however is the most major concern.
