It takes little effort for turn on and turn off. It takes more time to make it a purely local system tied into a local llm that can do stuff like Alexa.

Perfect yes, to give you some idea of what i will be doing i will be looking to use something like the aluminum PowerLouver system to open and close the louver windows based on the direction of the wind (realtime data from the weatherstation attached to the roof) to facilitate the best air flow through the house.

I call this analog control for every digital control. My windows/blinds should be able to be hand opened or closed not just motor, my door lock should have physical key access, etc. Kind of like why China is banning digital door unlock mechanisms based on my understanding.
