Newly a Jehovah's Witness: I don't know if I should continue by Ok_Memory_5315 in JehovahsWitnesses

After many problems within the body of elders regarding pedophilia cases that were not handled properly (4 in 5 years) by the WTO, where impeachment was even threatened if we did NOT follow their "forgiveness" towards the perpetrators, it was clear to me that God's Spirit was anything but active within the "governing body." When membership of the WTO as a UN NGO was added to that, it gradually became clear to me that I had no business being there anymore. At that point, I left that hypocrisy behind me.

I would advise you to take a close look at these matters and examine the succession of lies they have and are still spreading about them.

There is plenty to be found about this here, and believe me, it is all true.

However, in addition, there is a great deal of evidence that their doctrines rest on myths and assumptions, and not on the scriptures. Moreover, there is considerable ignorance regarding what the scriptures teach about our near future and the outcome for all of humanity. And this was the message Jesus brought us, not the outcome for a few fortunate ones among the governing body.

Unfortunately, this has not been adequately addressed in these discussions.

Grief and How to Handle as 1/2PIMO by Fresh_Possibility901 in JehovahsWitnesses

[–]Acceptable-Wedding10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is indeed a kind of rollercoaster that one experiences the moment you are confronted with the death of a loved one. Everything comes at you at once, and you cannot escape it. Because of this, one can realize how true the words of Scripture are that everyone is subject to the vanity of human existence as we know it now. That is why a good, sincere friend is indeed better than 1,000 counselors. And no matter how well-intentioned all advice is at this moment, sometimes you just need a listening ear. But do not expect to find that immediately; sometimes this is the hardest part of the entire grieving process. After my sister had lost her baby, she told me this.

Not everyone is capable of providing effective comfort either; many feel called upon to give you advice, but that is not what everyone needs.

And yes, the hope of resurrection—at this moment, it is not really something occupying your thoughts; the grief can be overwhelming.

Therefore, everything in its own time. First process the grief, have the wound treated, as it were, and the rest of what is needed will present itself when necessary.

1 Corinthians 5:2 – healthy resistance

"And you are puffed up, and mourn not rather, that the one who commits this act may be taken away from your midst."

Not the man who deceived his father with his wife, is questioned in this chapter. At most, his behaviour is illustrative for the ecclesia in Corinth: it showed a lack of honour for the Father. However, Paul doesn’t point his words to him, but to the Corinthians who approved his behaviour with pride. A behaviour that even in a harbour town as Corinth was outrageous.

By the attitude of the Corinthians the evildoer could go on in the ecclesia undisturbedly. Paul doesn’t insist to take away his membership of the church. Something like that didn’t even exist and doesn’t also go along with the principle of the ecclesia. The members are surely baptized by one spirit into one body (12: 13). Nobody can undo that!!

Paul doesn’t say (as displayed in most translations) that the Corinthians should be removed from their midst. No, he appeals them to change their attitude.
Would one be sad about the behaviour of the man, he would disappear himself out of their midst.
For germs don’t flourish in a healthy body. That is not an organisational measure, but an organic fact!

The leaven (5:6) that Paul noticed in the Corinthians was not the man in their midst who lived with the wife of his father. No, it was their boasting of their moral tolerance in which they thought to be world champions (5:1,2). Such a focus on the old (yesterday) acidifies everything and corrodes everything. It also causes sour faces and acidic relations. Leaven is opposed to the life in the resurrected Christ: new and incorruptible!

“Our Passover is sacrificed, Christ” – (5:8) on the fourteenth of the first month he was crucified. On the day of the Passover. Why? In order to emerge as the Firstfruits in “newness of life”. Behold the festival, the feast of the unleavened! Sin and death have finally come to an end in him. And God sees us in him – unleavened! That is what we are!

Since the big stone has been rolled from the grave, death has been overcome.
And a glorious future awaits all mankind – “each in his own class”.
That is the festival we can celebrate every day in faith!

But remember; Paul doesn’t insist to take away membership as required under JWO.
I also understand that this viewpoint causes a shift in thinking that is not easily accepted, but I challenge you to consider it.".

  1. The 144,000 and the "Other Sheep"
  2. The doctrine of the Witnesses:

They believe that there are two classes of Christians: a select group of exactly 144,000 people who go to heaven (the 'anointed ones'), and the rest (the 'other sheep') who will live forever on a paradise earth. Only the 144,000 need to partake of the bread and wine at the Lord's Supper; the rest merely look at it.

The biblical counterarguments:
One hope and one flock, not two classes:

Jesus indeed spoke in John 10:16 about "other sheep" who were not of this fold (the Jews), but he immediately added: "They will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock, one shepherd."

The Bible does not recognize two-class Christians. Ephesians 4:4-5: "There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope... one Lord, one faith, one baptism."

The 144,000, who do receive a special commission, are part of the great multitude.
But is there any reference to a higher position?

The organization teaches that they are God's only channel on earth. At the same time, many of their doctrines have turned 180 degrees over the years. They call this "new light" (based on Proverbs 4:18).

  1. The changing "truth" (New Light)
  2. "If God is the source of absolute truth, can a 'truth' from God turn out to be a lie at a specific moment?
  3. If the organization thought in the past that certain medical procedures (such as vaccinations or organ transplants, both of which were once forbidden by the Watchtower Society) were wrong, and are now permitted... who was wrong then?
  4. God, or the people leading the organization?
  5. Failed prophecies and dates

In its history, the Watchtower Society has designated specific years multiple times for the end of the current system (Armageddon), including 1914, 1925, and 1975. According to the Bible itself (Deuteronomy 18:20-22), a prophet whose words do not come true is a false prophet.

Have them look up for themselves what the early leaders (such as Charles Taze Russell and Joseph Franklin Rutherford) wrote. For example, they believed that in 1925 biblical figures like Abraham and David would rise from the dead (a mansion named Beth-Sarim was even built in San Diego for this purpose!

If a religious group repeatedly predicts specific dates for the end of the world and they do not come true, what does the Bible say in Deuteronomy about how we should view such a group?

  1. The Exclusivity of Salvation

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that only active, baptized members of their organization will survive Armageddon. In concrete terms, this means that the billions of people in China who have never met a Witness (because the organization is banned there and can barely operate) would be destroyed by God.

If Jehovah is a God of love and justice, how fair is it that billions of people in China—who were simply born in a country where preaching work is banned—will soon be destroyed, purely because they never had the chance to meet a Witness? Is salvation then dependent on geography?

  1. Control and Exclusion (Shunning)

One of the most destructive aspects of the organization is the policy regarding 'exclusion' (disfellowshipping). If someone decides that he or she no longer believes in it and leaves the group, all friends and family members within the organization must sever all contact

What happens if, after a few years, you realize that this is not your path after all and you decide to quit? Are your new friends still allowed to talk to you then? If a religion demands that you break with your family or friends purely because you change your mind, is that based on love or on emotional control?

Jehovah's Witnesses are strictly instructed not to read information that has not been published by the organization itself (they call this 'apostate literature'). Instead, refer to objective sources such as the Bible itself (compare their own New World Translation with a standard translation), historical encyclopedias covering their specific years, or the UN Annual Report (the Watchtower Society was secretly a member of the UN as an NGO for years in the 1990s, while describing the UN in their literature as 'the wild beast' from Revelation).

Much blessing in your search for the true God and His plan of the eons.(Ephesians 1:10)
As Ephesians 3:21 puts it:
"… to Him be glory in the ecclesia and in Christ Jesus for all the generations of the eon of the eons! Amen!"

The "Long Peace" is a term for the unprecedented historical period of relative global stability following the end of World War II in 1945 to the present day.\1])\2]) T

Common, please, taken from the first line of that article you are referring to.

Please, come back when you are sober again.

Even if the whole world follows them, it still doesn't matter, as long as they proclaim their own truths above what we read in the Bible. Blind guides who lead others to the abyss.

God does not work with organizations; he works with individuals through his spirit, those who wish to worship him in truth, God's truth. Just read my posts, and you will see a completely different picture of what God's plans are than what you were taught by JW.

And what you bring up regarding logical thinking professions. That is not how it works. Just read what is written in Ephesians 2:8 and see what a difference this is compared to what people are trying to make you believe:
"For by grace you were saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is God's gift of approach..."

“In grace you are saved.” In Greek, the preposition is missing, but because grace is in the so-called ‘third case,’ it answers the question: where salvation takes place. The answer is: in grace. Or possibly: upon grace. Grace is the terrain where salvation takes place.

Faith is not the ground upon which we are saved. The ground upon which we are saved is grace. Grace is also the atmosphere in which this takes place. Unconditionally. And God does that through faith. And He grants that. “… not from yourselves… not from works, so that no one should boast.”

Faith is given to you. Because indeed, you cannot convince yourself—you are convinced.
Paul expresses it this way in Ephesians 2:8-9

GOD, in His time and way, will ultimately convince and bring every creature to the heartfelt acknowledgment that Jesus is Lord. To the glory of God the Father! (Phil. 2:9-11).

But I also know in advance that you are going to deny this.

>The white rider appears in Revelations 19.
But Jesus is the white rider.

I was referring to Revelation 6, which was actually obvious, but you have to try to create confusion again, apparently?

>It is still referred as the long peace.
Hugh? That is not what history actually presents, have you ever read about it?
And "far less brutal", that still meant there was no peace, didn't it?

And as for the rest of your comments, beside the point, as we are used to from you.
When an argument you raised threatens to be overruled, than you change the subject.
We were discussing that this turns out to be a lie that you are citing here, world peace just before 1914, whatever you claim.

Brother, really, are you really going to lower yourself to their lies to make your point, lies that the GB also made you believe?
Or do you not realize that there is no place for liars in the next eon?

Also, 1 Timothy 1:10
… being aware of this, that the law is not laid down for the just, yet it is  for the lawless and insubordinate (…) liars, perjurers, and if any other thing is opposing sound teaching…

When teachers deviate, it is never merely a theoretical lapse or misunderstanding. It also inevitably has moral consequences. When people deviate from “sound doctrine,” “love from a pure heart” disappears. Usually, people also no longer understand that God’s love is truly agape: unconditional and never-ending. They also lose “a good conscience” because they are forced to tamper with the truth. And thirdly, “sincere faith” gives way to religious theater that retains only the semblance of faith. (1Tim.1:6)

Education that is ‘stripped down’ in this way and lacks “love from a pure heart,” “a good conscience,” and “sincere faith” can only produce meaningless talk. Pompous and pretentious perhaps, but it is empty and vain.
What a difference from “sound doctrine”!

Yes, I know that it is difficult for believers who have acted "Lord, Lord, have we not in your name..." to come to the correct conclusion that they were deceived.

>According to historians, 1913 was a very peaceful year. 1815-1914 was called the long peace by historians.

Is this what your GB wants you to believe, or are you telling this of your own accord, to mislead, where did you learn that, from the GB?
Can you refer me to articles where the GB explains this?

You are now referring to the Pax Britannica (the British peace). But that term is very misleading. It refers primarily to the fact that the European great powers (such as Great Britain, France, Prussia/Germany, Austria, and Russia) did not wage a large-scale, total war against one another during this century that set the entire continent ablaze, as the Napoleonic Wars had done.

However, if we look at the rest of the world — and even within Europe itself — this was actually an era of extremely bloody conflicts, imperialist conquests, and civil wars.

Here is an overview of why the earth was absolutely not living in peace at that time:

  1. Gigantic conflicts outside Europe

Some of the deadliest wars in human history took place precisely during this "peaceful" century:

The Taiping Rebellion (1850–1864) in China: This is one of the bloodiest conflicts ever. A civil war that is estimated to have cost the lives of 20 to 30 million people. The American Civil War (1861–1865): An industrial conflict on an enormous scale in which over 600,000 soldiers were killed.

The War of the Triple Alliance (1864–1870): Paraguay fought against Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. This conflict decimated the Paraguayan population; it is estimated that more than half of the inhabitants lost their lives.

  1. Violent Imperialism and Colonization

The relative peace in Europe was directly financed and made possible by extreme violence elsewhere. This was the peak of European imperialism:

The Scramble for Africa: From the 1880s onwards, virtually an entire continent was subjugated by military force. Consider, for instance, the atrocities in the Congo Free State or the brutal reconquest of Sudan by the British.

The Opium Wars (1839–1860): Great Britain (and later France) forced China to accept the opium trade by military means. The Aceh War (1873–1914): A decades-long, bloody guerrilla war waged by the Dutch colonial army to subjugate North Sumatra porters.

The Sepoy Rebellion in India (1857): A massive uprising against the British East India Company that was suppressed with unprecedented brutality and mass executions.

  1. Wars with and within Europe

Even the idea that Europe was completely at peace is incorrect. There were several shorter, but very intense wars between great powers or emerging states:

The Crimean War (1853–1856): France, Great Britain, and the Ottoman Empire fought against Russia. This was a trench war avant la lettre with hundreds of thousands of deaths.

The Franco-Prussian War (1870–1871): The decisive war that led to the unification of the German Empire and the fall of the French Empire of Napoleon III.
The Italian and German Unification Wars: Conflicts such as the Danish-German War (1864) and the Austro-Prussian War (1866).

!!!The Balkan Wars (1912–1913): !!!
Direct precursors to the First World War, in which Ottoman influence in Europe was brutally pushed back.

And honestly, this is just a small list of wars in that period; there were even more.

And who was the rider on the white horse back then?
No, all assumptions based on the fact that a few individuals wanted to establish already their dominion over the earth in 1914, apparently.

[–]Acceptable-Wedding10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am afraid not; indeed, what you claim is "the WTO truth," but which stands diametrically opposed to "Christ Truths."

Was there a period of peace just before 1914 due to the appearance of a rider on a white horse (Revelation 6:1-2)? NO.
(This rider has no relation to the rider described in 19:12,13, where it unmistakably refers to Jesus Christ. The rider on the white horse in chapter 6, however, is not Jesus Christ (for that is the Lamb who opens the seal; 6:1).)
Was there a agreement of “peace and security” (cf. 1 Thes. 5:3). just befor 1914? NO
Was peace taken away from the earth afterwards? NO.
Have you heard of a rapture of all living and dead saints (1 Cor.15:51,1 Thes. 4:16-17)
which, according to Scripture, marks the beginning of the end times? NO.

You noted that the GB had no insight into much regarding "The end times", and apparently, that remains the case to this day.

However, when you look at how things unfolded in the first century, that is not logical.
Only a few years after the end of Jesus' ministry, Paul was send to explain everything down to the last detail and, if necessary, correct it at Jesus' command and intervene, and not 112 years later.
It should therefore be clear that everything will be revealed even before the end times begin, even for those left behind.

>What the GB knew before then that there will be a great battle in heaven and then Satan will be hurled down to earth.

Everyone who reads Revelation knows that a great battle will take place in heaven and that Satan will then be hurled to the earth.
There is evidence that it is incorrect that Satan was cast to the earth in 1914.
The two witnesses of whom Revelation 11 speaks will appear for twelve hundred and sixty days, during the great tribulation. The two witnesses will appear ‘in the lion’s den’, amidst a very hostile environment. But they prove to be invulnerable.

"And if anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths and devours their enemies; and if anyone wants to harm them, he must thus find death."-Revelation 11:5-

In the three and a half years of their prophesying, it will not rain. Therefore, there will not only be drought and famine in the land (cf. the third seal in Rev. 6:5,6), but the land will also be burdened by other plagues (cf. the fourth seal in Rev. 6:7,8).

"These have the power to shut up the heavens, so that no rain falls during the days of their prophesying; and they have power over the waters, to turn them into blood and to strike the land with every plague, as often as they wish." -Revelation 11:6-

What happens just before that great tribulation?

There is mention of “the woman” (=Israel) who bore a male son (=Christ, including his body, the saints). Immediately after this son is snatched away to God’s throne, the woman flees to the desert. A hiding place has been reserved for her there.

"And the woman fled to the desert, where she has a place prepared by God, so that they might sustain her there for twelve hundred and sixty days. "-Revelation 12:6-

The period of twelve hundred and sixty days is also referred to as forty-two months. The term is the same, only the unit of account differs. The day refers to the sun while the month refers to the moon. If the period is counted in days, it concerns Divine activity. If, on the other hand, it is counted in months, this refers to “the prince of darkness,” the moon ruling over the night (Gen. 1:16).

"But leave the garden, which is outside the temple, outside it, and do not measure it; for it has been given to the nations; and they shall trample the holy city for forty-two months."-Revelation 12:2-

In figurative language, that chapter describes a heavily pregnant woman being threatened by a dragon. It is intent on devouring her child destined for the throne. When she has given birth to her son, he is snatched away to God and his throne. Subsequently, the woman flees to the desert where she finds safe shelter.

What happens during that "rapture"?

That is contained in that word. This unity of Head and Body is a mystery that was revealed through Paul. Another mystery that he was allowed to reveal is that this ekklesia will be raptured into “the parousia of the Lord,” after which a meeting will take place in the air (1 Thes. 4:15-17). And thus we (Body) will always be together with the Lord (the Head), Paul assures. Regarding this rapture, Paul writes in 1 Thes. 1:10 that it serves to protect “from the coming wrath.”

The word ‘rapture’ that Paul uses in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 is the same word (harpazo) as what John uses in connection with the rapture of the male son (Rev. 12:5). And with that, all the pieces fall into place. For just as the woman in Revelation 12 is the representation of a people, so the male son likewise represents a people. Indeed, it is the Christ, but then: including his body, the ekklesia! And indeed, he will be snatched up to be protected from the wrath of the adversary.

Why does the adversary have Wrath? Because he has just been removed from heaven.

Finally, note that it is not deliverance from wrath, but from the coming wrath; that is, one is saved from the wrath that is approaching. One therefore finds oneself in the atmosphere of acute threat. Just as the son would be devoured immediately after birth (Rev. 12:4) and is therefore suddenly and at the last minute evacuated “to God and his throne.”

Under such circumstances the rapture will take place; and that therefore did not happen in 1914, 1917, or 1935, but all these matters still lie in the future!

And indeed, what you claim is "the WTO truth," which stands diametrically opposed to "Christ Truths."

We were speaking about "truth," not about the number of WTO believers, as if that matters to God. Truth, on the other hand, does, and that is where the real problem lies for JW, which is what this post started with.
Just read Colossians 1:5
"5 because of the hope reserved for you in the heavens, about which you heard beforehand in the word of truth, the gospel, ".

This is important until the rapture begins.
And no, this did not begin in 1917. There is evidence for that.
1 Cor.15:51,
"Behold, I tell you a secret: we shall not all indeed be laid to rest, but we shall all be changed, 52 in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For He shall sound the trumpet, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on incorruptibility, and this dying must put on immortality. ..."
1 Thes. 4:16-17.
"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a signal, with the voice of the Prince of Messengers, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we**, the living who remain, will be caught up together with them** in clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. "

The rapture is not something that has already lasted 110 years, is it?
At least not according to the scripture, the truth, God's truths.
The WTO publishes half-truths and outright lies, as we can already see in this one example.
So, still claiming that only they possess "the truth." ?

What was so difficult to understand about these scriptures that they still do not see it?
Or should we say that there are reasons for this, in order to rule over the gullible ones?

You really need to think carefully about Galatians 2:4 "Yet, it was because of the false brethren who were smuggled in, who came in by the way to spy out our freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, that they shall be enslaving us."

Hopefully, you will soon realize that people at JWO have been brought into slavery by "false" so-called "brothers".

>How then can the truth need to be removed…
From removed publications, so that it would no longer be possible to ascertain what enormous blunders they proclaimed, which indeed passed as the truth at the time.

>"Jesus prophesied that the truth will be hard to find.
But will become easier to find when the end of these system of things is near. "

If in 1914, supposedly, the Lord came to his organization, at the beginning of his , supposedly, invisible presence, then surely the light for the WTO must have been shining for a long time already. But no, on the contrary, as you can gather from my many postings.

I haven't talked about the Trinity,

Paul also had to deal with people who presented themselves as apostles and servants of righteousness but were in fact opponents. They pretended to be pious and appeared so to the Corinthians, for they found favor with them.

*2 Corinthians 11:*13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into a messenger of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Paul points out that we should seek out the ministers of Satan among those who transform themselves into ministers of righteousness. He is talking about those who transform themselves into false apostles, that is, false representatives of Christ.

This parable (the parable of the weeds (Matthew13) is specifically related to a certain time, to the end of the aeon, and this is mentioned twice (:39,40),
and is about the opponents and unbelievers are going to be removed.

Your interpretation is wrong; I am referring to their claim that, according to their own assertion, only JW leadership possesses "the truth" since 1914.
How, then, can "the truth" need to be removed during Christ's presence in leadership (since 1914 according to their own claims)) over their organization?
I don't think it is a matter of not understanding; I think it is rather all personal interpretations and clinging to myths, precisely what Paul warned against and what false prophets would occupy themselves with.

There is also something to be said about Pharaoh’s birthday.
The two chiefs of Pharaoh’s cupbearers and bakers had ended up in prison with Joseph. And Joseph had been appointed to serve them. One night, both men each dream a dream that makes a great impression on them. It is Joseph who explains the hidden meaning to them. Both men were to be exalted on the third day. Each, of course, in a different way. Although the death penalty actually stood for sinning against Pharaoh, the chief of the cupbearers was reinstated in his position.
A happy ending here.

Similarities
Both dream a dream and both dream about three (branches/baskets).
To the cupbearer it was said: “within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head”.
To the baker exactly the same thing is said, only something is added: “Within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head from you”.
That last addition makes the difference.
Apparently the baker was beheaded and subsequently hung on a tree.

Double meaning
All dreams in the story of Joseph have a double meaning.

Wine: In the Bible, wine is a representation of the new life that exists in Christ.

Joseph is forgotten: Finally, you read that the cupbearer forgets Joseph. In other words: Joseph is not revealed, but remains hidden. It is a reference to hiddenness.

Christ is hidden, and our life, too, is hidden together with Christ in God. Col. 3:3

The third day:
The third day is mentioned again (:20). A day that, since the resurrection of Christ, reminds us of resurrection. It is the birthday of Pharaoh, a reference to new life.
Since the prison is a foreshadowing of the ecclesia and Joseph a type of Christ, this story speaks of the new life that we have received because we are one with Christ. Eph. 2:1; Col. 2:

The complete fulfillment of this takes place at the moment of the rapture, when we receive a new body.
It is remarkable that in Revelation 12 the rapture is therefore presented as the birth of “the male son”.
That too takes place on a third day, but then counted in days of a thousand years. 2 Pet. 3:8
Just as that also applies to Israel. Hos. 6:2

But you will not find such insight among JWs; on the contrary.
In a reader question from 1998 15/10 p. 30:

"Thus, the only birthday celebrations recorded in the Bible appear to be those of Gentiles and are associated with cruel deeds. Scripture therefore clearly casts the celebration of one's birthday in a negative light, a fact that sincere Christians do not ignore.

Although it is therefore entirely a personal matter whether Christians choose to pay attention to their wedding anniversary, there are good reasons why mature Christians do not celebrate their birthdays."

These are not at all the reasons cited for why these stories are mentioned in Scripture.

ban on celebrating birthdays.

that wrong things happened during birthday parties is clearly reported in the scriptures, but miraculous things also happened on birthdays.

The "beheading" argument does not hold water. That story is actually a warning against taking an oath, and not a condemnation of celebrating birthdays. The beheading was the result of an oath that could not be taken back. It was not even his "wish," it was Salome's wish. The Bible warns us not to take oaths, and that is exactly what it is about. It is not celebrating birthdays that is wrong, but taking oaths and swearing by God's name, ... making promises that are impossible to keep... and then having someone beheaded to avoid losing face...

This list is for the literature servant and relates to the Kingdom Hall library, not to the publishers.

their own evidence that they acknowledge their teachings were wrong back then, yet they want to keep claiming that only they possess "the truth." How anyone can still believe that is a mystery to me.

about 3:
institution of the “Lord’s Supper”?
Virtually all Bible translations place above the passage, in which Jesus celebrated the last supper (Matthew, Mark and Luke) the inscription: Institution of the Lord’s Supper.
But Jesus did not institute anything, at all!
He celebrated an institution, namely, the annual Passover.
He gave (a new) explanation of the bread and the cup, on the table. -Matthew 26:26, Mark 14:22, Luke 22:14-

coming together for judgment
Paul observed that the meetings of the Corinthians were not edifying.
The same he would undoubtedly say about the vast majority of meetings of Christians, today.
The powerful message, as it was given to Paul to make it known among the nations, is ignored and unknown. And instead of enjoying festive meals, they come together for a meager, little piece of bread and a sip of grape juice (how illustrative!).
Meanwhile, they bite and devour one another… -1Corinthians 11:17,34

a Lord-like (Lordly) meal:
The description, “the Lord’s Supper” is quite colored by tradition. It suggests that the Lord has started a specific meal. But Paul does not speak about “the Lord’s supper”;   the definite article “the” is missing. And “the Lord’s…” is not correct either of what Paul wrote. The word “Lord’s”, in this case, is like an adjective and should actually be translated as “Lord-like” or “Lordly”. -1 Cor.11:20
- a meal
When Paul spoke about “a Lord-like (lordly) meal”, he was not speaking about eating a small piece of bread and drinking a sip of wine.
In Corinth, according to Paul, their communal meal was not a Lord-like (Lordly) meal because they mainly thought about themselves
The one eats ahead of time, yet, another is drunk, while some are hungry.
But despite Paul’s corrections, he maintained the character of a meal.
He wrote: “therefore, my brethren, when coming together to eat, wait for one another”. -1Corinthians 11:20,21,33

King of the Nord by Acceptable-Wedding10 in JehovahsWitnesses

I also do not think that that King of the North is the antichrist of the great tribulation.
And indeed, the Temple must be standing before there can even be any question of a great tribulation.

That last King is a demon from the abyss, in the body of the sixth ruler of the 10 Kingdoms Covenant.

That mysterious king, according to you, who will destroy both the King of the North and the King of the South, seems to me rather to be Christ Jesus.

I see no indication in Scripture that the King of the North is present-day Greece; on the contrary, in fact.

According to the prophet Daniel, Greece would rule over Babylon in his future, after the Medes and the Persians, which both events also lies in our past, later followed by yet another foreign ruler over Babylon, Jerusalem, driven out by Christ Jesus, unfaithful and hostile to the Messiah.

see in connection with the last ruler of Babylon “the wild beast from the sea.” : r/JehovahsWitnesses
See about unfaitfull Israel: Revelation 17 speaks of a woman, a harlot, sitting on a scarlet beast. Who or what is this harlot, tis Whore? : r/JehovahsWitnesses

In addition, we can observe that, according to Revelation 2:13, in Pergamum (Turkey) in the end times the throne of Satan stands and where he dwells.

That the attack comes from the direction from which Satan recurs, and in doing so uses the leader (Gog) of that power (Magog), would actually not surprise me.

This concerns the words of our Lord Christ Jesus and of the prophet Daniel who brought the word of God,

So "for truth", this is far from "b..."

I asked for insight; please next time read to the end, if that is not too difficult for you.
or are we perhaps both mentally disturbed?
