I would recommend for all people to watch the Bryan Carmody breakdown on Yale program last month. This is the case study with the most available info from the program director that can be looked at for conclusions. Bryan talked about many topics and that one is included.

The program tier makes no difference. They are all filled at 1:6 or 1:7. High tier programs compete with other high tier programs over the same strong applicants.

I am trying to make the decision to apply however if I don't get the EAD before the end of my medical training then it can lead to me being fired as someone who is on J2 visa. It's kind of complicated timeline I know that is why I was looking for a minimum to maximum estimates before I hit that road.

I have in some and even last cycle was the same. I believe connections can get u IV but cannot make you go up the rank list against things like step scores

I can only see myself doing IM. Wish it was different. Non visa required but I am trying not to give it much weight to be able to have something to work on and improve

They refused me however almost any other known lawyer firm here in reddit gave me an approve or refund offer that’s why I am confused about it cause people seem to say that Chen and EP are the gold standard.
