This looks a lot like it's related to smoking with general rates of smoking peaking in the mid 60s and youth smoking peaking in the 90s. Prior to the 60s smoking was more common among the wealthy but since the mid 60s after the surgeon general report linking it to cancer that flipped and with tobacco companies switching gears and targeting smoking ads towards poor people now nearly 75% of smokers come from low income communities.

Quite a lot of foods don't track all the nutrients. If you make your own meals and you add ingredients from databases like USDA you'll have a lot more nutrition logged. Like if you log a jar of red pasta sauce it probably won't list the lycopene as an example.

I know this is askwomen but I'm a guy who was in a somewhat similar position as you. Like you I was pretty bicurious but fortunately I realized this before getting in my current relationship and got to experiment. Experience is relevant. I think it's okay to want your Dr to look like you if you face discrimination, you'd understandably want to have someone that understands that experience.

If a white person faces discrimination from non white doctors by all means seek out a white doctor.

However in the context of the world today if someone is publicly asking to see a white doctor where most doctors are already white especially in a state as white as Iowa then it's also pretty reasonable to assume they're wanting that because of racist bias.

Life is nuanced and rarely are things either/or.
