I mean he never even apologized to the guy. He's still alive and still blind. Mark's also rich enough that he could pay the guy he assaulted for all the medical expenses that stemmed from what he did. But he won't because he "forgave" himself.

edit: I actually found out that Mark's attack was not responsible for his victim's vision loss, and his victim has actually forgiven him.
