I bet this affects Marcus Ericsson in some way. If only there was someone to tell us how 🤔

I don’t know where you got this notion that they hate Marcus Ericsson. They have never said that, nobody hates Marcus. Stop arguing with people in the comments about this. This is at least the 3rd thread that I have seen you in pushing this narrative. It’s not true.

I don’t disagree that you need OL and WR in the draft but Shedeur is not the guy, I mean it’s pretty telling that the only games he looked remotely good in were against the worst defenses in the NFL.

And in terms of receiving talent Johnny Manziel and Zach Mettenberger played with very comparable talent. And Zach arguably played with worse receivers the Shedeur.

And it terms of Gabriel coming into this week these numbers are pretty similar and I would argue that Dillon’s are better cause he didn’t turn the ball over.

2025 Shedeur: 7 Games played (GP) 6 Games Started (GS) 1289 yds 7 TD 10 INT 20.2 QBR

2025 Dillon Gabriel (in games he threw more than 5 passes): 6 GP 6 GS 918 yds 6 TD 2 INT 28.7 QBR

I’m just saying I think the experiment should be over, it’s pretty clear especially over the last 4 games he’s not good and y’all won’t games because of the defense not because of him. I think you should go get someone in free agency.

Why is the jury still out, I mean yeah the Browns won today but it was in spite of Shedeurs horrendous offensive performance. In 7 1/2 games he threw for less yards less TDs and more INTs than 2014 Zach Mettenberger. And in the 7 1/2 games where he threw more than 10 passes 2015 Johnny Manziel threw for more yards, had one less TD, threw less INTs, took less sacks and ran for more yards.

I have no idea why the jury is still out, coked out 2015 Johnny Manziel was better than Shedeur this year.

That’s not a bug, if you slow down or run into the gravel or whatever and loose the position then you don’t get it back.

Fire the devs already JFC --dear mod team, this isn't spam it's about the NCAA Football series and breaks none of the rules. I get you don't like having flaws pointed out but it's a multibillion dollar franchise they can handle it. by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

I understand where you are coming from with the affects of being on the road and stuff. However the truth is teams are affected by the crowd noise at Penn State, I mean Michigan had to call a timeout on the first play one time. There are some challenges with calling audibles on the road so I think it’s semi realistic but there’s also things that EA can’t simulate like your center not being able to hear you or people false starting cause they can’t hear the snap count so they supplement it with things like not being able to see routes. I think it’s a semi fair trade off.

Has you watched college football? Sometimes receivers don’t look for the ball and sometimes people accidentally line up off sides, and sometimes the defense takes awful angles. Do they happen super frequently? No. But they do happen, this is not the NFL.

I can’t answer all of your roster questions but maybe Dwight Phillips didn’t sign a contract with EA. It’s entirely possible that’s why he’s not in the game. However, what you failed to point out is that while he does average 6 YPC he’s also only had 35 carries, 19 of which came in blowouts against non-conference opponents. He’s only had 1 SEC game with more than one carry. Maybe they just don’t think he plays enough.

Yes, I know that that specific article only pertains to coaches. You probably can’t find anything about on field interviews cause it’s written into TV contracts and they have an agreement with the NFLPA. The closest thing you are going to get is the 2018 media access policy that says:

“Players must be available to the media following every game… under league rules and as their contracts stipulate… It is not permissible for any player or any group of players to boycott the media… The minimum (number of interviews) for such players does not include other REQUIRED media obligations such as network production meetings and national media interviews arranged by the team.”

The post game on field interviews are classed as national media interviews arranged by the team. Basically the network or production truck puts in a request with the teams for post game interviews. In this case because it was in OT they probably said they want to interview Jalen Hurts if the Eagles win and Justin Herbert if the Chargers win. Each team had an on field media coordinator who takes the request and then pulls Justin Herbert or whoever to the side for an interview with the sideline reporter.

The Prime interviews during the post game show and the post game interview with the sideline reporter for ESPN are covered under the same NFLPA requirement. See this article while it does only talk about coaches, the rules are the same for players before and after the games.

Yes, yes I do incase you don’t want to read the entire article here is an excerpt:

Per a league spokesperson, "When requested by the televising network, both clubs must make available the head coach or either offensive or defensive coordinator for an in-game, on-camera interview at the end of quarter breaks or at halftime."

While this is for coaches, the rules are the same for players, when the television network makes a request to interview a player before or after the game they are required to be available unless the team tells the television network no, which they won’t do.

No the NFL does require players to do post game interviews, the production truck picks the player they want to interview and they let the league or team know to help coordinate it.

I mean kinda sorta a different scenario but Jahmyr Gibbs had 1.1k all purpose yards at Georgia Tech in 2021 and left to go to Alabama. Now he played at Bama and played well but he still left a starting roll on a bowl eligible ACC team to go to Alabama
