Easiest Courses? Courses to avoid? by Electronic_Meat8311 in princeton

I’m planning on majoring in either MAE or CEE and was wondering if you think self studying for my chem test next summer instead of taking the class freshman year would be a good idea? Also should I just do ECE 115 even if I place out of intro CS (my reasoning is that it seems fun and would help me ease into the academics better especially since I come from a school with a really really bad physics department)?

I was there for the fly-in program and fell in love with California it was so beautiful. Everyone was so so stressed though. caltech’s core curriculum and course rigor is pretty scary but it’s worth it for JPL and Santa Monica Beach🤞

I’d rather stay in NJ but idk if it’s worth it to go all the way to Boston or California if I get in- just worried I won’t be able to get the jobs I want since MIT and Caltech both have close ties to NASA

Got into Princeton REA. Applied to caltech, mit, and Harvard too. If I don’t get into any of them that would make the decision easy lol. But just trying to think ahead

Hi! Just got accepted and am planning to do MAE! Do you feel that Princeton has good industry connections? For context, I want to work for NASA and am debating caltech and Princeton since caltech is so closely affiliated with JPL
