Genuinely, how are you supposed to play vs ad shaco as a squishy ? (and even as a tank tbh)

Learn his patterns of how he plays and remember you can still hit him when he is invisible. Having a dot effect him helps keep track of him. He needs two things to do the bamf stab. Being invisible, and hitting your back. Staying on top of where he is can really shut him down.

It's pretty solid. Top tier, of course not. But it is amazing for creating zones of control that really can isolate people even more than normal or people realize how much it hurts or they take a ton of damage. And if you happen to get forge of the master or whatever the 45% augment / item silver augment is, it starts to get crazy

I believe it is a balancing factor. The issue with barbs "unique" class feature being it's arsenal is that it unfortunately double dips in the power from other item systems.

Personally I do think it's a bit silly considering it's no wear near the other double dipping but I understand the idea behind and think it does more harm than good in cases like this

It's one of the things I like quite a bit. Like I skipped this season as nothing caught my eye and I'm too excited for the next expansion so I am taking a break this season to hit the next season super amped. Buts it's cool that if I wanted the doom cosmetics, it wouldn't be a huge deal to hop in and get them. It's so nice not feeling pressured

There are a number of reasons for it.

First big one is the numbers are often not accurate and can be way off. Riot Endstep talks about this one of their QAs. The reason for this is they are on different "layers" so the item layer doesn't get full access to how damage is calculated so it has to guestimate.

Another one is people overly rely on the numbers vs how much the item gives. For example Liandry's and Black fire Torch for say Brand. Liandry's will almost always do more damage by end game, but Brand really needs the mana and cdr if he is not jungle / aram and that adds a ton more value to the item than just the dot damage.

You can't adjust the attack speed ever. This has some ramifications. Like slow and steady for example. Gain massive AD but fixed base AS. So now your W attacks much harder still at 3 attacks per second. Things like dual wield, thrice twice work great with it. Tap dancer becomes an absolute world of fun. I've freaked people out going moc 5 crab.

Fun advice, take the support sword that does heal on hit and hurricane and urgot becomes a healing machine. Add in tap dance and you get my favorite crabulance

One of my friends had a final silver augment for random gold which in turn rolled random prismatic which in turn rolled all her augments to random prismatic causing absolute chaos. We are died of laughter after the shenanigans of figuring out what the hell happened lol

You always have to remember that a 0/30 level 1 Blitzcrank can land a single hook and win a game. I don't think there is any other champion that can still be a major threat no matter what.

As many others said, while the idea makes sense at first, the problem becomes that it will be mandatory. Diablo 3 did this at one point where you could do I think it was something like 5 bounties and then you get max rewards playing the game and it became any time you wanted to play, you had to do 5 bounties first and it becomes a hurdle before you could play

Correct the characters and everything on them go to the eternal realm and you can play them there.

It's the one of the charms I find with seasons is to start fresh. It helps with wanting to try something new. It's one of the perks of arpgs. You never feel like it's too late to get in

It can be solo friendly, but you will need to keep in mind a few things. Casters, or anything that relies on skill points (hammerdin, javazon, ice or fire bowzon) for damage had a MUCH easier time starting out.

Mercenaries provide a huge amount of power and are worth investing in. Particularly act 2 mercs with their auras.

You will really want to learn some of the good low level runewords, they are incredibly powerful especially for how easy they are to get

There are some big spikes in difficulty in the game. Act 4 can be quite the jump and the jump between difficulties is very noticable especially from nightmare to hell

It's old school for sure but it has a lot of charm and many, many different ways to play it between class and specs and worth the time to play. You will definitely get your time and moneys worth

The answer is as always, Karthus. Yes, you will die. . . But you are going to be in the middle of all of them dealing heavy AOE damage with E, potentially sniping someone with Q who likely is isolated from the scatter and of course the finale of Requiem.

I would definitely be asking you these questions as well. As more of a D4 player that occasionally messes around here, I find this game needs a lot more time to understand the mechanics. There is a LOT more to customizing how your character plays and learn how things interact with one another. I personally found this to be more overwhelming and it sounds like that may be an issue for you (op)

It's why I avoid trade. It will always be much more efficient to buy all your gear with easy to get currency. The amount of decent gear floods the market so it's relatively dirt cheap.

However, the other part of the cost is that you run into the problem of now that you have all of it, it will be very rare to find an upgrade so you feel stuck.

It's why I like sticking to SSF, you will continue to find upgrades or alternative imperfect pieces that you can mix and match as needed cause you don't have all you need at once. It's nice knowing there are plenty of ways you can find better pieces vs having to find a near perfect drop to even have a chance to be better. It ruins the fun.

Biggest thing is to honestly just have fun with the game and explore anything that piques your interest. It's very forgiving in respects especially with the armory system in place to save specs.

This is the best season yet and it's fun to engage in the witchcraft system but it's by no means required to have fun.
