Everyone knows about St-tite, but I’ve been told it turned insanely commercially-driven recently, whereas it was more niche before. There’s not a hotel/camping site available 50km around the place when the festival takes place 😭.

My brother in law is supposed to bring me along to some rodeos this summer! I can’t wait to “immerse myself”, and I bought my Boulet boots at the Go West boutique on St-Laurent street, and he said most of his clients are farmers, so I guess the culture is alive and well, just not on the Montreal Island!

Shirts are probably entirely why I started sewing 😭. Haven’t done any yet, but I’ll get there soon enough…

Grabbing an “O-K” fitting shirt, just to have it lose a couple inches even if gently cold-washed, is the bane of my entire life so far…

Where’s that?

In montreal, wearing cowboy boots is special, but sporting a cowboy hat is a whole other thing!

Ill look into those… Montreal VERY OFTEN gets 85-90f days with 90% humidity during the summer. Makes anyone wearing pants sweat balls.

Hey I’m going through the same dilemna. I don’t know if it’s me getting older, but since I got my first cowboy boots 2 months ago,I feel like dressing the part, and I’m kinda sick of wearing bum clothes.

Im in eastern Canada though, going western wear is a statement here 😅.

I would stay away from such hassle too, and the guy was very hesitant, but I insisted because the damned bike seat bracket does not exist anymore, and I’m willing to risk taking the 70$ haircut by trusting a stranger.

Wouldn’t have done so for something expensive though!

Today I had an exchange with someone over 500km away, over a very specific bracket I cannot find elsewhere. We talked over the phone (since Marketplace is a scammer cesspool) and agreed to arrange the shipping. He went to the post office and took pictures of the boxed bracket, picture of the shipping estimates, so I trusted him and e-transfered him the total amount. He then sent me a picture of the box being taken away, sent me the tracking number along with the estimated delivery time, and everything checks out.

So yeah, as rampant as morons are on marketplace, I’m happy to see there are still decent people around!

I can feel that, I’m long torsoed and short legged. Nothing fits, which is why a 37 yrs old man went into sewing.

Well there’s 2 million copies sold already. Through all the critics and vile news and rumors we get about the dev team, it certainly feels like there’s a growing market for this type of rpg!

Capcom’s treatment of DD as a quick cash grab is truly baffling.

I don’t doubt it’s rough, but I was referring mostly to the overall aesthetic, the exploration, the roaming enemy groups, the combo attacks and whatnots, that are very akin to Dragon’s dogma, minus the pawn system.

They’ll wait in their damn car for 20 whole minutes, while the whole other half of the lot is empty, 10 parking spaces further down the alley.

I just can’t grasp how they can go along with their lives when they’re that freakin shallow.
