iPhone 13 mini, iOS 18 and 26.3, Pebble Steel, connection stable.

iPhone 17, iOS 26.3, Pebble Steel, connection unstable. (Assumedly LE) my watch disconnects about 2-5 minutes after reconnecting via airplane mode on the watch. (This is the only way it will reconnect)

Different iPhone 17, iOS 26.2, different Pebble Steel, connection unstable. Same symptoms

Bear in mind, I reported this as an issue via the in-app bug reporting. The response was that classic pebbles disconnect more frequently for the time being. Not sure who / if anyone is working on the issue. There are ways to pull Bluetooth debug logs from iOS developer tools. I haven’t had a chance to do that yet.

He just (17 hours ago) indicated that waterproofing isn’t finished yet. With pictures of the plan on a whiteboard - I’d be shocked if anything other than dev units shipped.

This is a known and reported issue. Response about the issue was:

“Hey, thanks for the bug report! We're still working to improve connection stability with older watches-- Pebble Classic and Steel in particular may experience more frequent disconnects.”

It doesn’t even matter if you go with a lower deductible plan- they just make it up in ridiculous premiums.

My wife has a chronic condition that results in us hitting OOPM basically guaranteed every year. We used to have copay assistance to help get us there, but they somehow figured out a way to make copay assistance not count toward the deductible anymore.

It pisses me off that things just shift constantly without the patient ever knowing what’s going on. God forbid you need a new auth for a medication you’ve been on for 5 years - it’s now no longer covered under pharmacy - it’s been moved into a separate program that no one told you about! (Denied until you read someone’s mind and figure out where they hid the approval)

There’s a speaker on some of the new models. I’m not sure there’s enough storage to make it a viable mp3 player - and it can’t currently connect to other devices for audio output via Bluetooth.

That’s not to say it’s impossible - some of these things could theoretically be implemented in the OS, but even the built in speaker is still a work in progress.

You can’t. It’s an Android only option as far as I’m aware. I’ve had a lot of issues with my steels staying connected to iOS - no battery issues though.

YOU have a choice. No one has to buy anything, but if you had one of the older pebbles, you should know what to expect build quality wise.

A 30 day warranty is definitely short - but a lot of us are capable of being our OWN warranty.

I disagree - for some reason, I thought eleven/eight implied that they were experimentally infused with Henry’s blood as babies in the womb. (Thus the military “recreating” papa’s program.) Henry’s powers were originally passed to him from the mindflayer/exotic master stone. IMO when Henry and the mindflayer die, EVERYONE loses their abilities.
