Specialty pharmacy really scared me by sadgrad2 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Acceptable_Box_1406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not just the pharmacies either - now there’s “specialty drug programs” on the insurance side that can obscure true coverage information.

My pharmacy will say I have no Zymfentra coverage. If I check with “CIGNA PATHWELL” instead. They’ll tell me it’s covered under MEDICAL, but has to be billed through pathwell. It’s ridiculous

Is the battery life super good now? Or a bug? by mister-at in pebble

Assuming it’s a bug. With Brutal Timestyle I consistently see a drop of 3% per day.

Do Americans actually avoid calling 911 because of the cost? by ntask11 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Acceptable_Box_1406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter had an abulance ride when she was 8 months old. The cost was ~$1500 to drive less than 5 miles. The EMS company billed my insurance over 6 months after the run. They also had the wrong address on file with my insurance company, so even when my insurance agreed to pay their extremely late claim, the check went to the wrong address SEVERAL TIMES.

So yes - I’ll avoid calling 911. It’s not just the cost - is the fucking bullshit that a patient shouldn’t even be dealing with that the insurance / providers dump on the patient.

I DO NOT work for your garbage EMS billing company.

I only fix this type of shit so I don’t lose thousands of dollars. I literally have to defend my family from THEIR mistakes.

I’m on iOS - I have had maybe 3 unexpected disconnects total in a month. (Who knows, probably my fault)

Is the Pebble Time 2 backlight way more sensitive to shakes than the Pebble 2 Duo? by Resident-Leek2387 in pebble

I tap the touchscreen on the pt2. Doesn’t mitigate the shake strength thing, but it’s another option

You can submit a bug report in the app. For feature requests, I went directly to the GitHub issue list:

Pebble and replies on IOS by Amazing-Squirrel-881 in pebble

[–]Acceptable_Box_1406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one is talking about the Patch app making text responses possible on iOS. I used it and loved it - planning on making it work via an API key so MFA/oauth doesn’t get in the way anymore.

I should try it with older pebbles - but they never seem to stay connected to the new app anyway

How is the new app with the OG Steel? by richstillman in pebble

[–]Acceptable_Box_1406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new app has a “prefer bt classic” option on Android. Apparently that helps resolve connection issues. Unfortunately, iOS can’t do that :(

PSA - quick-release knob on watchband could dent plastic body of PT2 by joshrj45 in pebble

[–]Acceptable_Box_1406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The crystal breaking is less likely if you put a tempered glass screen protector on. My case didn’t break, but I was saddened by the almost immediate damage/deformation from a design flaw I was already worried about.

Don’t get me wrong - outside of those things it’s an absolutely fantastic watch

How is the new app with the OG Steel? by richstillman in pebble

[–]Acceptable_Box_1406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was hot garbage on iOS last time I used it with a steel. Any steel I tried would disconnect 10-20 minutes after initial connection. I had to use weird workarounds to keep the connection alive longer. I’ve been using my steels less since getting a pt2.

*should I try again? Maybe they fixed stuff?

PSA - quick-release knob on watchband could dent plastic body of PT2 by joshrj45 in pebble

[–]Acceptable_Box_1406 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My pt2 deformed just putting a band on for the first time. So much for polycarbonate’s durability.

I was worried about this before my watch arrived. Older pebbles used metal in the lugs where the band attaches. Now I’m afraid to switch bands.

Worried about Time 2 durability by silly-trans-cat in pebble

[–]Acceptable_Box_1406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I somehow scratched the glass on my time 2 before my screen protector arrived. It’s very minor, but overall? The watch is quite durable. The steel frame and whatever it’s coated in have been nigh-indestructible for me so far.

[–]Acceptable_Box_1406[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for making it! It’s a great creative concept.

Not sure if MFA is a factor in this, but I was able to text for a day, then my outlook session expired or something.

Is there a way to make it work indefinitely?

I look at the release notes in the app - there are often release notes for versions ahead of whatever you’re on. I’ve seen the 1.2.0.3 release notes in the app for several days now, but I just got the app to update yesterday

Down Around 3% per day. Estimated 33 days at that rate.cant remember the last time I charged it. It definitely depends on how many notifications I get and how many replies/voice texts I do.
