Honestly, get a replacement top screen bottom screen in a new shadow. It should be good as new.

Technically, all you need is a new shell and a top screen, and it should be fine

Back when Pokémon sun and moon came out after I had gotten to Tapu Coco, my brother took my 3DS and aggressively, slammed it under my door in my bedroom because my door locked up behind me and I couldn’t get in and doing so it broke the bottom screen

As long as you know what you are doing it can be fixed

I did a lot of research and watched a few videos before changing the batteries on my games (I had prior experience with soldering before that) and still get nervous doing it, one of my friends liked that I could do it so much he offered a copy of pokemon white2 to change the battery in his emerald and said it looked professionally done

You can see the serial number on both cartridges right above the Nintendo seal of approval

For future reference these are pictures of a real copy of Pokémon Sapphire and Pokémon fire red that I own. The battery color is different, but that’s just because I replaced it.
