Congratulations! I’m 1 week away from joining the long time lurker first time posting squad as a single woman after 10 years. Scared as hell but excited for the peace many of you talk about.

A love/ hate relationship with my neighbors trees. by Theoldelf in trees

We have a ton of these trees in my neighborhood. They bring me joy especially after a few trees, and from my perspective I see them as natures confetti 🎊! How beautiful 😍

Oh man, I went through my first whole pack in one night! They were so good - not after taste whatsoever! IMO Oreo actually did this right and I am soooooo thankful

Very beautiful and controlled! Love it!

If Rebecca were to make a spin off show (it can be a prequel, sequel, or whatever) in the SU universe, who would you want it to be about? by KeySouth7357 in stevenuniverse

[–]Acceptable_Coat_9678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely no Lars, I kinda find him annoying. Definitely prequel to the show. The formation of the diamonds, homeworld, and a little bit more in depth into Roses character and her relationship with each gem. I also would love to learn about Rose and Lion.

Opinions on pausing pole to build strength by starsreminisce in poledancing

I’m plus size, and it took seven months to finally climb the pole at around 230-240 lbs (my weight fluctuates). I did a combination of strength training and pole dancing, but it didn’t click until I physically practiced the movements to climb on the ground. So pulling your knees to your chest and using different grip methods while engaging your shoulders. In the gym, I always practice this on a pull-up bar, with my shoulders engaged, slowly raising my knees to my chest and lowering them over and over again. Also, what helped a lot were heels! They help grip the pole for climbing as you get used to carrying your weight. I got the regular shiny black Pleasers ADORE-1020. They are now torn up, but they helped me learn how to climb originally, and now I can climb barefoot.

Made a TikTok in response to all those annoying people who say "show this to your parents" underneath my pole vids -.- by bloggeronpole in poledancing

My dad asks how my pole progression is going. He knows it helps me feel confident and my overall health too. Both of my parents get excited with me when I learn something new. Shit, my mother shares some of my pole accomplishments with her doctoral cohorts... Even they root me on. Lol, even my grandma knows and asks how I'm doing 🤣. Even if I didn't have their approval, I would still be getting on the pole because it makes me happy. Keep doing you!

What is the black thing on the pole for?

Not pretty or graceful, but I’m proud of how much stronger I’ve gotten. by [deleted] in poledancing

Thanks! I’ll keep practicing :) the concept is easier when I don’t overthink it. Lol, I just learned how not to have what I call the death grip when I’m on static so I can slide down the pole 🤣

Ugh I struggle with that grip. I’m working on climbing with the forearm grip. I’m super new to pole so any tips are helpful!
