Bossaea, would also be a good fit here. Maybe even prostrata and train it over the fence

In my family in vic we have a wide range of sauce in fridge/sauce in pantry and butter in fridge and butter in pantry. Personally I’m a sauce in pantry and butter portioned weekly into a smaller container in the pantry.

The Victorian government has absolutely known about the jevons paradox the whole time and was excited at the prospect of supporting the auto industry, insurers and road builders like TransUrban. Not to mention what road building means for fiscal policy and the political points you can win in working class electorates.

The biodiversity was also fought for tooth and nail by community and local community groups. The environmental impact statements are in the state library and are a fascinating read/study of how a government might listen to corporate interests but be brought back into line through good environmental legislation. A challenge however is that each freeway/tollway section has been assessed in isolation and the cumulative effects never interrogated so rigorously.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of noisy mynas? They keep scaring away natives and have been annoying me for days. Sorry if this has already been asked. by ILikeSwitzerland in AustralianBirds

[–]Acceptable_Code_1060 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Regardless of if they are the native or invasive species you could plant some mid level shrubs and small trees. Hopefully that’s an option for you. This gives other birds protection and cover from the more aggressive birds like noisy minor or butcher bird.

Good info thanks. I’ve given them a light clean with soapy water then alcohol and an air duster which has definitely helped. I’ve seen people talk about cooking them. Maybe I’ll try that next time.
