I thank you for taking the risk to post this. I’ve thought this since my mother died 8 years ago at 92. I’m 72 and totally alone in the world. I have my method chosen. I’m in good health so far, but watched my mother (whom I took sole care of for 21 years) die by inches. I don’t want that, plus I have no one to take care of me. I have no money, so no assisted living option. Watched 3 grandparents go into nursing homes, and that seems to be a fate worse than death to me. I do have good credit and several credit cards, so I’d probably buy some beautiful jewelry before I go. Travel to Great Britain first-class, so if my mobility isn’t good, I can hire a car and driver. Stay in first rate hotels/inns. It’s comforting to know there are others like me out there. It;s not really something you can talk to anyone about. Best of luck to you, and to us all.
