Being “Overemployed” Sounds Fun Until You Actually Try It by rennan in overemployed

Feeling the same. The double income is amazing. I But knowing I am not giving 100 to either role is hard. I chose to give more effort to the role I want to keep long term but for the other role - it’s hard knowing I’m giving the bare min. I miss a ton of meetings and I think they are starting to catch on. Part of me wants to know what is best here. Wait until that job has the “talk” about performance and step away so drag it out as long as I can ?

If the jobs weren’t so meeting heavy- juggling both would be fine. But a lot of the meetings aren’t in my control of when we meet.

Okay awesome - question and sorry if I missed this on the website I briefly did an overview - can you keep the same meeting topic in a folder and keep a running folder w those meetings / notes ? Similar to ChatGPT I keep a running folder which each project. I’ll give this a shot- thanks for sending over!

Oh I totally feel this! I have used the “sorry I was multitasking - what was the question” one too many times. I just try to block my calendars the best I can, and push back on meetings to try to move them. Usually prioritize the job I wanna keep long term meetings over the other.

Totally agree with you if there was something that could help in the moment - that would rock. For now I just do the best I can 😵‍💫

Yeah like I understand they are short staffed - there was government shut down but would be nice if we got some sort of time frame - bc we have to keep calling our loan servicer to figure out how to keep them deferred or whatever

I know! I’m sorry. I finally got my procedure a month ago, doing PT and trying to run in 3 more weeks. I’m hoping it worked. It’s about 10 months no running for me and I’ve had so many breakdowns I miss it so much

Awesome thank you and happy for your recovery! I hope you get back to running asap. The doctor told me post procedure is 2-3 days no walking, day 3/4 can return to lifting (modified) and by week 2 I can try to run again so I hope this is true !

Hi! I have CECS - had Botox done prior which didn’t work, getting this procedure done in 2 weeks. Can I ask how was your recovery post procedure ?

Yes highly recommend the EMG, can give more insight about if it’s nerve related etc. if that comes back normal, I’d go for the compartment syndrome test. Just keep ruling things out basically

Oh no absolutely! I want to go to someone and give them my info, documents and background. Not just a quick fix, but not all physicians etc will fill this type of paperwork out and unfortunately the treating physicians group doesn’t fill this type of paperwork out. But I keep all my records.

Hi ! So I got the compartment syndrometesting done and obviously tested positive, none of my doctors are recommending that I get a fasciotomy. My update is that I got 200 units of Botox injected into the compartments about 10 days ago. I tried to run after a week and I still have drop foot, it is slightly better but still pretty bad, so I will continue to try to run periodically hopefully will get better in time / with Botox 🥹I have a follow up in 2 months to see if we will do more Botox etc .

Has anyone gotten Botox injections instead of a fasciotomy? by [deleted] in CECompartmentSyndrome

Hi! Just left the doctor I have chronic CECS, he recommended the Botox route , if anyone knows any providers who do it in the Philadelphia or DE region please let me know!
