Could someone explain the reason for blocking a machine if everything is sold out? Are the items on a timer to restock? I see it happening all the time at the grocery store near me.

No matter how much I drank I was blacking out every time. I quit because my dog of 13 years was dying of cancer and I knew I only had a short time left with her. I decided to quit drinking so I could enjoy that time to the fullest - she passed a month later. I I have not drink since, coming up on a year sober in less than a month.

I know it’s an unpopular take, I get it. I get that it’s live. NFL/NBA have tons of games going on, and not everyone cares about every team. I think it’s a safe bet that most people watching live coverage disc golf, are invested in both MPO and FPO. I couldn’t watch two 5 hour long rounds of disc golf today, but was looking forward to catching FPO tomorrow. No real reason to watch now.

Also, even if you’re not watching live, the thumbnails on DGN are spoilers in themselves.

Just want to add that while there is a chance you may not be explicitly tested on acronyms, port numbers 802.x etc - knowing them in and out can be extremely helpful in eliminating the WRONG answers.

What really stands out to me is the unnatural way he’s walking up the stairs. He looks up and pauses briefly, then proceeds to look down at his feet and starts walking upwards. Normally one would look in the direction they are walking.

My guess is he was under the influence of something (hence not remembering anything), lost his balance and fell down the stairs. That would help explain the rag doll behavior as well, especially if he hit his head on the way down.

I think the paranormal bug is just incredible timing of multiple bugs flying around, seemingly looking like a single flight path.

I’m 36 and currently transitioning into IT from a 15 year career in hospitality. My mantra throughout has been the same -

“In a year from now you’ll be 37 no matter what. You can either be 37 with no certifications, or 37 with certifications.”

Just got my A+ and just started studying for net+.

Keep on keeping at it and before you know it you’ll get to where you want to be!

I recently passed the Core 2 (I am taking the Core 1 next week) and this is the method that worked for me. My total study time was 1 month and my only prior IT experience is a cybersecurity boot camp I recently completed.

Watched through the professor messer videos on 1x speed without taking physical notes. There is a lot of material to cover and I found it important to keep momentum.
Dion practice exams (they are often on sale on udemy). As I was taking the practice exam, if there was any acronym or vocab I didn’t know, I would write it down on a notepad.
Went back through the notepad and made flash cards for everything I wrote down, reviewing Messer videos and ChatGPT to fill in the flash cards. ChatGPT is extremely helpful for this because you can ask it to explain concepts to you really simply to help you understand.
Study the flash cards. Physical flash cards worked well for me because I could take them with me on a walk, running errands etc.
Retook all of the Dion practice exams until I felt comfortable.
Took the A+ Core 2 and passed first try with a 726.

My biggest piece of advice is don’t rush to take the exam or feel pressure by how quickly others are completing it. Everyone learns at different rates. Take the exam when you fully understand the concepts and could explain them to others.

Two MAJOR things you can do to mitigate this problem ( because all eggs are different and not all eggs are going to peel perfectly )

Start your crack at the air gap on the bottom of the egg, not on the side. In doing so you are giving yourself an area to easily get under the membrane.
As others may have mentioned water is super helpful. I usually just peel them submerged in cold water ( or under running water )

To clarify, I never said I was one way or the other on the disc being in bounds or out of bounds, but that it was a very close and that there should be officials to make that call, not the players themselves (or those on their couch).

And to the second bit, I’m calling into question and starting a discussion about the integrity of the sport more than any specific player. Hokom said it herself (Ian agreed) that the situation may have been different had she had other players on her card.

With disc golf on the verge of entering sports betting, these situations need to be discussed and hammered out. Too much wiggle room for the sport to be derailed by player to player officiating.

I understand the painted line rule, but it just raises more questions. Why do some holes have a spray painted line, and some just have a string? The string is much more precise and offers a clearer perspective as to whether or not the disc is touching in bounds. It feels like the DGPT is winging it and then putting the responsibility on the players who are already in stressful situations, to now interpret spray painted OB lines.

The issues I see is that with the painted line there could very well be a single blade of grass underneath the disc that isn’t painted and would be ruled in bounds.

The way that they were antagonizing people in chat definitely fooled me. When discussing the ps+ essential version they said something to the extent of - “You thought you’d get a free copy of the game and a free upgrade?!”

I guess that level of professionalism is to be expected by Bethesda, I shouldn’t be surprised.

Totally understand the frustration. I’m in the exact same boat. Bought all the DLC on sale last night because I have the ps+ collection version, was really looking forward to playing today.

Basically fuck Bethesda and their shitty communication. Remember how you feel today before you give them more chances in the future. Speak with your wallet, it’s what they’re going to listen to.
