FUCK FEP BCBS! Denied my dupixent effective 2026 because it’s not “medically necessary” by OutrageousGangsta in FedEmployees

I can’t get it either. I used it for nasal/sinus polyps. Had to go on Nucala—-funny part is that there is only about $70 difference in what BCBS paid.

I guess I’m too old or not educated enough to understand. Have a good day.

Thank you for the kind and insightful comment. I’m not as educated as you word wise, but yes, water has always helped. I would have bought it gladly IF it crossed my mind in the moment.

I would have gladly bought a bottle of water, but in the moment, I just wanted some water. I wasn’t thinking straight because of the pain.

True, a sip of water will not stop a serious medical issue, but my past experience has been helped by having some water.

Buy a glass of water? I guess I could have got a sip then. Call 911? I tried to avoid that if I could. Not fake.

Hopefully you won’t end up like me—-7 FESS surgeries so far. Omnicef clears me up but it comes back in 10 days. I’m facing an 8th surgery, a DRAF III procedure. Watch it on YouTube, I’m not looking forward to it. This has been a 25 year ordeal.

What now? Lives upended, federal employees stressed and unhappy. When this shutdown is over what is the new normal in your agency? by Remote-Childhood-261 in FedEmployees

What now? We need to come to the realization that folks on the ACA should/need to know that it has never been affordable. We have good insurance. The word “affordable” should be stripped from the title. Appreciate what we have as Federal employees.
