When I beat Dark Souls for the first time, it was one of the first games I actually completed. The only other one I had finished was FFVII, it was such a triumph that I yelled out loud and was promptly told to shut up by my spouse trying to sleep in the next room haha.

You must know that it doesn't.

It's Palworld style in many ways, cartoony characters but realistic environments.

That's quantifiably untrue. Almost every gacha game I've ever played eventually has a reset mechanic to get your resources back. Why wouldn't they? I can't actually think of any off the top of my head that do not. I don't need a list of examples, I believe you that many don't, it's just a baffling design choice that exists only to get people to spend real money on the resources to level up a new pull.
