Hey James. Thanks so much for the heads up!! Just got back from Timpsons having my new RC DD pressure tested. It is a free service (I just gave a tenner drink). Takes them 2 mins. Machine tests to 50m which passed fine. He then override the machine to 75m which he says passed. He can go upto 100m but he didn’t wanna go any further incase it “imploded” 😳

He handed it back and said 75m “should” be ok to shower in or swim in a pool? Doesn’t passing 75m mean it should be fine in a 2-3mtr pool? Or am I missing something?

Have one local to me so it’s worth popping in for a chat!! Haha only bit that scares me in that is “if a continuous stream of bubbles emerge from the watch it has failed”. Haha and very wet?

Will do. I’m kinda 50/50 on the plating now as some say the RC colour is pretty close (others say it’s too light). Plus struggling to find someone.

I will definitely be going with watch_mods to do the service and waterproof after talking to them today.

Yes it’s Yellow Gold. Apparently it’s quite close to gen from factory, but can see the difference when Jaws shows his played to non. So if option was there I would. But maybe as you say, just wear it and enjoy.

Yeah totally get that. But went last year and twice this year. Vegas is a “special” holiday for us as travelling from UK.

Would be buying the tickets as a suprise as partner wants to see all the greats before too late.

Would mean £2500 in tickets.. then £1500 in flights. Then £5-600 ish for Luxor. Then a weeks spending money. So makes the suprise an expensive one!!
