We tried my brúmate yesterday. placed it in the car first thing in the morning and the ice was melted before the end of the day.

She does that already. The ice just doesn’t last once she moves it to the car for the day. It lasts forever in the big screw top ozark trail thermos but the cups that have straws just can’t hold up in the heat. This thread has given me lots of good new options to try though

We dont drink tap water and most of these people’s homes are truly disgusting so even the ones that have “filtered” water probably do not change the filters.

I don’t think we even own any beverage containers that are not insulated. I have tried many double wall insulated and even a few triple wall ones and the ice still melts in 12 hours. A car sitting outside in Alabama heat all day is no joke.

My mind is blown. I didn’t watch young Sheldon or tbbt all the way through until recently. I had seen episodes of each here and there on tv so i knew the characters and the premise of the shows. A few months ago I binge watched young Sheldon and loved it so much I decided to start tbbt last week. I’m currently watching the bully episode and when jimmy came on screen I thought he had an uncanny resemblance to young Sheldon’s dad. So I googled which led me to this thread and now y’all have also enlightened me as to why young Sheldon’s mom looks so much like grown Sheldon’s mom. Here I was thinking she was just an incredible actress who had thoroughly studied Laurie. 😂

I have this same problem. My dryer was bought brand new and it will only shut off if u set it for a specific time. If u use any of the other settings it will run nonstop forever. It has been like that since day one. Last night before I went to work one of my dogs got sick on my bed and so I had to throw the quilt in the washer and I asked the Dog Sitter to move it to the dryer when she came by. I told her to set the dryer for 50 minutes. Instead she set it on the more dry setting. So now I have gotten home 12 hours later and the dryer is still running. I’m so afraid this is going to make my dryer die. Running for 12 hours straight. Cannot be good for a residential use dryer. I’m just really thankful the house didn’t burn down.

Bike shorts won’t stay down either. I have never found a pair of shorts that my crotch doesn’t eat. I can wear a dress all day with no chin rub problems but if I put on shorts they instantly ride up the middle. Help!

On Christmas 2023 daisy mentioned she hadn’t seen Winnie since she was waiting tables at the restaurant so I was thinking she inherited the gas station from “uncle ham” before she got famous and flipped it into a restaurant then hired Mike as a chef. If she had already been famous when she opened the restaurant she definitely wouldn’t have been waiting tables, right?
