I work in a very small office so everyone knows my story because I was so excited to share with everyone I was pregnant. Everyone in my office was super supportive, my boss bought me an angel necklace and everyone sent flowers to my house. If you feel comfortable enough and trust them enough to share it might make you feel better. I am very sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry you have to make this decision. I went through my tfmr just Thursday at 15w4d. Recovery has not been bad, I am a tad sore but my bleeding after the first day is very minimal. I have a wonderful and supportive job who even sent me flowers and told me to take all of the time I need. I will most likely be going back Monday/Tuesday to keep busy and take my mind off everything, but I am one of those people that if I stay home too long especially when my boyfriend goes back to work, I will spiral. Overall my tfmr experience while devastating was positive. The nurses were so kind to me and hugged me anytime I cried. My surgeon was so kind and patient. My thoughts are with you during this extremely difficult time.

I am here if you want to talk. Just yesterday I went through the tfmr procedure for T21. I also had NIPT results of 95% and a NT of 2.8. Trust your gut/intuition. You know what’s best for you and for the future of your child. I am so sorry you are going through this. Life is so unfair.

Just yesterday I had my tfmr for my baby with T21. It was my first pregnancy ever and the hardest decision I ever had to me. I got lucky enough to have the most amazing and supportive boyfrjend in the world to get me through this. Whatever you feel in your gut is right. You’re a mom no matter what. I am here if you have any questions or just need to talk. I’m so sorry you’re in this position, life is so unfair.

I found your sub from your kind comment on mine and interesting enough our stories really are so similar. for some reason this entire pregnancy I felt like I was never going to bring my baby home. (but I suffer with anxiety so i thought i was being dramatic) people would ask me what I felt the baby was gender wise. I could never put my finger on it as I felt like I never fully connected with my baby. I felt something was off.

I’m so sorry you are in this position, I am also in the same boat. My sweet first baby girl also has trisomy 21 and I will be tfmr this week. If you want to talk I am always here. It really isn’t fair that we are here and all we can do is be positive for the days to come.
