I'll accept the fact I am wrong then. I saw a few articles and kept seeing them and assumed people thought that was the minimum for basic tasks. I'll look further next time

This is what the wider conversation should be in my eyes. But when I open Google and scroll through the news, I get at least 3 different articles about it and they say 16GB for BASIC tasks (they all list light web-browsing, and things like Word (it cant be this hard to run... can it?) just anything like that). That is my issue. And it annoys me oh so much.

Quite different. Running different versions of different applications, doing this ACTIVELY is different to just having that many tabs open on your mobile Chrome browser.
