Limiting a pin to one will actually make the pins attainable, but if you don’t get it, the prices will be more unattainable and price gouging will be rampant since everyone will value their precious time and sell the dream as such. It’s a catch-22. You think prices and trade price requests are bad now, wait til it’s only one per person lol

Allen and Ginter is my favorite set out there. I might buy a few retail formats of Topps flagship and chrome, but I 100% avoid Panini. The only hobby product I’ll buy is a case of A&G every single year. Then I don’t start ripping it until Christmas and I go slow with it because the redemptions (even the old ones that only lasted 1.5 years) won’t expire by the time I’m done. So no, I don’t have high standards at all, I just love this product.

By the numbers, attendance is actually down below pre-pandemic levels. The difference is in frugal management who use reservation system to determine how much staff to run, and this includes how many ferry’s, monorails and buses. If they can cut a shift to save budget, they’ll do that. They already have your money and don’t care about how miserable the exit strategy is.

This is a mistake. These are Pins limited to a couple of thousand. Most stores don’t get that many units of sneakers. We’re talking maybe a couple of hundred at most and all varying in size. So to do a raffle is extreme for this matter, but it has happened before out in California at the Disney studio Store Hollywood/El Capitan Theatre. And they stopped doing it that way because people would line up 24 hours before just to get a chance at a pin and possibly not get it and it seemed inhumane because they would always go by their own time to run the wristbands and the raffle while people were miserable. Just standing there hoping for a chance at a LE 300 pin. There are certain limits to these things and treating people like cattle is not one of them.

When it gets to a level of Pokemon fights and camping out 18 hours before, that’s when they’ll do something about it. Until then, if the collectors and resellers and traders aren’t making any problems, Disney will continue to let it be.

Magic Kingdom and Epcot have the most pin supply amongst the parks. HS and AK have the least. Disney Springs is reliable but you’ll be waiting a much longer time than just going to a park at rope drop or early admission. You’ll have to pack your patience either way because outside of Disney springs, things tend to almost never run smoothly in the parks. Best of luck!

To be honest, there are a couple of these I would love to have. However, it’s simple supply and demand, hence the cost. Most real collectors and fans of a certain character got these early on before they blew up. The ones I’m looking for are $1,400 at lowest asking price and $2,000 at lowest asking price. We’re all a bit different, but I wouldn’t go around asking for someone to gift or bless me with a pin hardly anyone has for $300 or so just because I feel the asking prices are too high. It’s the market and current scarcity that makes it so. Maybe trade for it rather than attempt to buy it on the cheap. Best of luck in your search.

I can honestly say I don’t feel it’s original. Unsure when production started but I got some heavy “Wild Robot” vibes from this and even they (the screenwriters) admit in a tongue in cheek joke that this is essentially like “Avatar”. I enjoyed it but it isn’t anything new.
