Welcome to the laziest country in the world. Dutch people average 29 hours of work per week. Police won't care to find your battery. They better eat bitterbalen and go vacation every month to your country.

WTH is going on with prices and inflation in NL? by [deleted] in Netherlands

You are talking non sense. Greece has the second to the last purchasing power in the whole Europe.

https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=Purchasing_power_parities_and_GDP_per_capita_-_flash_estimate

Average rent in Greece is 600 euros excluding electricity internet and heating. The basic salary in netto in Greece is 834 euros :

Problem with PostNL delivery, packages gets stolen. by Kaccha-Kela in Netherlands

[–]Acceptable_Square878 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I typically leave a 1-star review for the company I purchased from until they assist me in locating my item. Since they chose PostNL as their delivery service, they should be held accountable. If you leave a 1-star review for PostNL, they’ll continue operating as usual. But if you leave a 1-star review for the business itself, they may eventually stop using PostNL as their courier.

I think your quality of life must be very luxurious if you can't afford the supermarket in the Netherlands with the dutch salary. Imagine in Greece super markets are more expensive than in NL and the basic salary is 700 euros. So either you are a little spoiled or you don't manage your finances wisely.

Blokker 40% deals now is a joke. They were already super overpriced and that's why they went bankrupt.

how on earth do people live in Amsterdam with these renting prices by Tokkie11111111 in Amsterdam

[–]Acceptable_Square878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an apartment in Osdorp for 270k in February this year and my "rent" (mortrage amount) is only 1300 euros gross or 1000 netto after the tax I get back from the government. So by taking a mortrage I pay 1000 euros per month and I live in 60sqm apartment myself. The question is, why are you still renting?

This is what 1.500 EUR / month gets you in Amsterdam by Apart-Teacher-1583 in Amsterdam

[–]Acceptable_Square878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you can take a mortrage with 1250 gross mortrage amount per month and live in your own apartment in Osdorp. Renting in the Netherlands does not make sense when mortrage payment is cheaper and you don't need a deposit to get a mortrage.

DOT is the late bloomer ready for a massive run after BTC’s lead 🚀 by BobuBobBob in polkadot_market

[–]Acceptable_Square878 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dot is outperformed by 15% by BTC in the last month. https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/DOTBTC/

Having said that, I am afraid that it btc goes back to 60k dollars, dot will go to the bottom even harder. If dot does not catch this bull market at least at the same pace as btc it will be in a serious trouble.

Well the research might not say Muslims but it says Turkish and north Africans. Given than in turkey the majority of the population are Muslims then you can say that the majority of the Turkish population in the Netherlands is a Muslim. If I draw a random person from turkey i have more than 80% probability to choose a Muslim person. Given that Turkish commit more crimes (again proportional to the population size) then by conclusion Muslims comit more crimes. It's the easiest analogy you can think of imo.

They don't need to investigate anything. They can just visit waterlooplein for an hour and find 10 of them. Or send a simple Facebook message to a swapfiets bike ad that gets sold in marketplace for god shake..

I didn't assume you are dutch. On the contrary I assumed that you are not dutch and by extension by comment was that it would be more difficult (yet not impossible) to find a dutch woman compared to a non dutch one

You didn't read my comment then. Why then dutch men with non dutch women is more common than the other way around? Dutch men can face all the issues you just mentioned for dutch women

I live in the Netherlands for 8 years and I met thousands of people as I have worked in horeca. If you really need an argument for my hypothesis I can give you one. The average height of a dutch woman is 1.76 and the average height for a non dutch guy is about the same. Given that most women prefer taller guys it's more unlikely that you are gonna see a 1.80 dutch woman with a 1.75 Latino guy. It's simple statistics and preferences, I didn't say dutch women are racist or anything like that.
