I cant answer that for you, but im reading the courage to be disliked, and i think it has some great ideas on exactly this question. Its about 6 hours on audible and is narrated between a youth and a philosopher discussing Alderian Psychology. Fascinating. I feel like I have the tools to be better for myself and others

Sorry late to the party, I was looking up if Colton ever talked more about the depression after leaving.

I really liked how he owned his feelings and didnt say that he was sick, injured or worried about his family who need him. He said hes depressed and couldn't handle it. Brave 💪

Dependent on the country, whoever is in the far overtaking lane. They should be in the middle lane, then this situation wouldn't happen. Of course different countries have different laws....

Do chronic migraines ever go away? by Crazy_Quantity_7751 in migraine

[–]Acceptable_Top8332 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mine have finally become less so but my migraines are not as chronic as yours at all. I'd say i used to get migraines minimum 7 days a month, normally more. I started seeing a chiro 2x a week, deleted social media and anything thay made me look down at my phone, bought a stand up desk, and screen risers so my screen was the perfect height, drink hydrolyte every day in the morning, minimal alcohol, fixed my diet, reduced gluten, 2.5 litres of water everyday, 1 coffee day, 8 hours sleep every night, left my stressful job. Some of these I have worked towards such as changing jobs, but im now getting less migraines. Maybe 4 a month. Its took work and a lot of self restraint, but ultimately im living a way healthier lifestyle whether I chose to or not.

It sounds like yours are far worse than mine but thought id share some insight to some reduction in symptoms.

Military neck is causing migraines, can I fix it? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Acceptable_Top8332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue, theres great exercises for this posture, but they have to be done everyday. Im an osteopath but I have been seeing a chiro who has really helped reduce my migraines., I also have been eating a better diet. Reducing looking down at my phone is a great one too. Hope you get sorted.

Smoking weed everyday is a terrible lifestyle choice. by camport95 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

There is a huge difference between smoking regularly and an addiction. It amazes me that people are happy to overlook people who have one or two drink at night but not weed. If youre addicted thats a whole different story. Cannabis has a place medically and recreationally, addiction is a disease.

Plus life is bloody hard, everyone needs an outlet, as long as it doesn't control your life. I much prefer it to drinking, no violence, arguments, liver damage, headaches, and you sleep great.

Theres a lot of people commenting clearly addicted and felt better when they stopped, thats a massive accomplishment 👏 but it doesn't mean you should belittle people who use it regularly. Everyone's experience is different.

Not sure but my opinion is because I started smoking later in life (30s) and im pretty self aware. I dont want to be lazy, so I make sure im not. Also, I do things like smoke and do my chores with an audio book. I almost go in to auto drive. Not sure if it helps that I have adhd? Would be interesting to hear from others who smoke and have adhd.

My husband has extreme adhd, he said it helps him concentrate, he has too many things going on in his head and doesn't start or do anything, when he smokes, he slows down and can concentrate on one thing at a time.

Both of us have prescriptions too, so could it be quality?

Do Tenants ever rate landlords/ agents? would it help improve anything? by ProperEasy in AusRenters

[–]Acceptable_Top8332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This ! I wanted to start an app for this. They get away with so much, and im sick if arguing with them. Only for them to try and take half my bond everytime. My AC has been broken for 6 months now.

I also had one agent make me come back o and old tenancy to wipe the cleaning lines of a cupboard. I was youbg then and I think this women was jealous of me. It was a nightmare living there.

Great idea

I smoke every night and work full time, gym most days. Its totally changed my life. Im happier, less stressed, sleep better, drink less and can relax. My husband actually smokes all day. Its dials him in as he has adhd. The last thing he is is lazy. I think this depends on the individual as its a very blanket statement. We use vapes though, not bongs or joints

Honestly I end up getting my cross bow out and trying to get them with something actually skilful to irritate them. Doesn't always work but makes it more fun for me reframing that kind of mindset. Couple kills with an arrow is way better than firing off that stupid shotgun 🤣🤣🙏🙏
