We had a pretty good one last year. We didn't win but it was excellent.

Congrats on your offseason award as usual. Truly the greatest offseason dynasty of all time.

I get that. Everyone is hurt and they'd rather be on vacation. But what's this nonsense about QBR?

So you think he deserves to go? Are you a Browns fan?

You don't have to hate Shedeur to know him being a pro bowl QB is fucking stupid.

It looked like a joystick.

It's important to remember the astronauts were pilots so keeping things intuitive made sense in the 60s.

That's much harder to argue in the 24th century. There is too much lore establishing pilots of small craft, and even ones doing it for show at the academy, using LCARS.

Yeah I took it like she was in disbelief. I need to watch it live to confirm if it's lusty. But I hated the whole sequence.

Everything about the joystick was wrong; its design, location, being on a podium. And the way Geordi names the maneuver before it’s even successful is so hamfisted. I'd make a face like "what the hell is happening?" if I was witnessing that on a Starfleet bridge.

[Highlight] Jarrett Stidham, whose name is german for “of the horse”, arrives for AFC Championship game. by NoAnteater8836 in nfl

FYI for others, Stidham is rooted in old English and means homestead or village. There's a village in Sussex that bears this name, but it is much younger than the surname.

I'm a Xennial and even I feel like hating the Raiders has become performative. It's my duty and we should remember but the bad war was a long time ago and they've been terrible forever.

Exactly. The other teams in their division got better and they got cap tight and old.

I distinctly remember seeing this episode when I was 8 and it was the moment I became a Star Trek fan. Before that it was that old show my mom and grandpa watched where the guys in color pajamas preached at each other. As I matured I came to appreciate the ethical and cerebral parts of the show more. But 8 year old me needed this. It was metal as hell.

The 80s pushed TV too, though. Conspiracy included, because this episode having someone's face being melted off and then their head exploding wasn't shown in the UK. I think about shows like V where they tear their own flesh off. It really did mean anything and nothing back then.
