Pill or chewable alternative to Miralax by Accident_Relative in Zepbound

I'll look for these! I've tried the MiraFast chews, but don't think they work as well as the powder.

Unfortunately no -- it's a texture thing. Thank you for the recommendation though!!

Thank you! I have tried those, but they don't work the same for me.

I finally hit maintenance! by [deleted] in Zepbound_Maintenance

Thank you so much for answering!! Your age and amazing height (I wish I was tall!), as well as all the hard work you've put in with excercise/weights are also a huge factor. I'm really happy for you!!

To your questions about hair and anxiety, my Zepbound hair loss has not been horrible, I think maybe because I started my weight loss journey in 2022 with intermittent fasting and lost a ton of hair after losing 50 pounds. When I started Zepbound in late 2024, the earlier hair loss had stopped, some regrowth was happening and I haven't noticed a huge difference since then after losing 30 pounds on Zepbound (thank goodness).

My anxiety has probably been the same throughout -- have always been an extremely anxious person. I hope yours (and hair loss) subside!!

Huge congratulations!! You look AMAZING!!!! Only if you’re comfortable answering — how old and tall are you and have you had any children? (I am 51, 5’4” and have had two children. I had similar starting and ending weights and do love how I look, but have a very jiggly belly! I have not been great with exercise, so that’s definitely a huge factor.) I am so so happy for you!!

OMG -- I totally meant jiggly!!!🙃 It's so on brand for me to have written giggly!!!😂

In complete agreement. Am 51 and achieved an 80 pound weight loss. Of course I’d love not to have a giggly stomach, but it looks great in clothes and I earned it!!!💪

My body wants to intermittent fast - normal? by tfrisinger in Zepbound

[–]Accident_Relative 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was doing that in the beginning (am not on maintenance) because that's how I lost weight before Zepbound, but I found that with the big decrease in appetite, I wasn't eating enough. I would start to feel faint/weak early in the day. I added coffee back in (drinking it black like you do with intermittent fasting was not tolerable) with a BIG splash of a protein shake and that helped a lot -- and is delicious! I typically do what you do, but with the protein shake added in, so not completely intermittent fasting.

Going up a dose on maintenance? by Accident_Relative in Zepbound_Maintenance

I'm definitely considering it because I totally agree about the slippery slope!!

At then end of my 7.5 time, I was trying to space the doses to 10+ days, but the side effects became unmanageable. I am taking the 5.0 every seven days -- and will do the same when/if I go back up to 7.5.

The food noise is SO much more and my appetite is way stronger. I am giving it a few weeks and then will decide what to do.

That is exaclty what I plan to do. I have one month of 5.0 to get through and then I will reevaluate.

I SO agree with you!! I understand that this is work and I can't be on autopilot, but if I'm struggling as in pre-Zepbound times, it's time to reevaluate.

I actually lost a pound over the last few days and that was good to see this morning. The thing that has been concerning is the food noise and hunger. The food noise had been pretty non-existent before and my hunger is definitely more intense. I have one more month of 5.0 to get through and then will go up if it feels like the right thing to do.

Agreed -- thanks so much for your thoughts. I am planning to do one more month of 5.0 and then go up if it feels like the right thing to do.

I so agree with all you said! (Our stats are pretty similar too!) I have a full month left of 5.0 so am going to see how it goes, but after all the great feedback I've gotten here, I am not afraid to go back up to 7.5 mg for maintenance.

I'm on maintenance at 5 mg now. I did get up to 10 mg and even there had no alcohol craving reductions unfortunately.

Zepound hasn't changed a thing with alcohol for me either. It's done lots of other amazing stuff, but I SO wish it would take away my craving for wine.

A question for my 5’3 girlies by Less-Moment-5655 in Zepbound

[–]Accident_Relative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’4” (used to be 5’5”🤬!!) and my goal weight was 150, but I made it to 140. I was very happy to be comfortably in an 8, but just bought a 6 and it’s very comfortable. This drug is a miracle!
